An electrocatalyst is provided. The electrocatalyst includes Pd-containing metal nitride, wherein the metal is Co, Fe, Y, Lu, Sc, Ti, V, Cu, Ni, or a combination thereof. The molar ratio between the metal and Pd is greater than 0 and less than or equal to 0.8. A fuel cell utilizing the above electrocatalyst is further provided.

An ionic liquid and a forward osmosis process employing the same are provided. The ionic liquid has a structure represented by Formula (I) ABn Formula (I), wherein A is n is 1 or 2; m is 0, or an integer from 1 to 7; R1 and R2 are independently methyl or ethyl; k is an integer from 3 to 8; B is i is independently 1, 2, or 3; and j is 5, 6, or 7.
