A user equipment and a method related to reporting management are provided. In the method, event-triggered information is received for a quality of experience (QoE) measurement configuration. A pause indication is received. To send or pause one or more QoE reports is determined based on the event-triggered information. The QoE report is associated with the QoE measurement configuration.

According to one exemplary embodiment, the method includes configuring, in a system information block, a parameter of the access control mechanism which indicates a first access class of the multiple access classes is barred; transmitting a first paging message which includes an indicator indicating the parameter of the access control mechanism has been modified; not allowing any random access associated with the first access class in response to the first access class being barred; configuring, in the system information block, the parameter of the access control mechanism, wherein the parameter of the access control mechanism indicates the first access class of the multiple access classes is no longer barred; transmitting a second paging message which comprises the indicator indicating that the parameter of the access control mechanism is modified; and allowing a random access associated with the first access class after the first access class no longer being barred.

An accessing failure event reporting method, UE, a method for adjusting access control mechanism and a control node are proposed. The accessing failure event reporting method includes: receiving a configuration signal when the UE is preparing into idle mode; performing an accessibility measurement of a GBR mechanism in response to the configuration signal. The accessibility measurement includes: attempting to establish a GBR traffic connection; recording at least one accessing failure event if the UE fails to establish the GBR traffic connection; and reporting the at least one accessing failure event.

A method for performing minimization of drive tests measurement data is disclosed. The network assigns a preamble dedicated to the reporting of the logged MDT measurement data, and configures multiple UE to report the logged MDT measurement data by using the paging message. The UEs perform the first random access procedure with the network to obtain the uplink resource and a dedicate indicator for performing the second random access procedure. The UEs perform the second random access procedure for transmitting the request message. The network transmits the response message with a scheduling plan according to the request message(s). The UE transmits the logged MDT measurement data according to the scheduling plan.

A method and an apparatus for notifying activations of extended access barring (EAB) and updates of EAB information in the field of Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless communication systems have been proposed. In accordance with the present disclosure, the eNB notifies MTC devices of EAB changes from a paging message through the paging channel (PCH). The network could use either a single bit EAB status indicator to notify whether the EAB has been enabled or disabled or use multiple bits EAB indicator to represent different EAB parameter changes in addition to whether the EAB has been enabled or disabled. Based on the present disclosure, the network could reduce the paging overhead by require the MTC device to acquire the EAB-SIB only when it needs the EAB information.

A user equipment (UE), a communication system, and a handling method for handover failure are provided. The handover procedure of the UE from a source cell to one or more configured target cells fail. In the method, in response to the handover procedure failing, a cell selection procedure to select a suitable cell is performed, where the cell selection procedure is configured to perform a connection re-establishment procedure. Whether to continue the connection re-establishment procedure is determined according to a determining result of whether a suitable cell is one configured target cell.

The disclosure is directed to a network link topology adaptation method for an IAB node and an IAB node using the same method. In an aspect, the disclosure is directed to a network link topology adaptation method used by a transmitting IAB node, and the method would include not limited to: receiving a topology adaptation configuration which comprises a blockage-related parameter from an upstream IAB node; determining whether a blockage condition of a radio link has occurred based on the blockage-related parameter; and transmitting a request to trigger a switch from a first network link topology to a second network link topology.

The present disclosure proposes a method of allocating resources for a scheduling request (SR), a user equipment using the same method, and a control node using the same method, which is related to dynamically adjusting a dedicated SR (D-SR) period which is a semi-persistently configured D-SR resource used to transmit a SR. The method, the user equipment, and the control node would perform functions including establishing a connection between the user equipment and the control node in order to transmit uplink data, the user equipment transmitting through the connection an assisting information to the control node after establishing the connection to adjust the D-SR period, and the user equipment obtaining a second D-SR period after transmitting the assisting information to the control node.
