    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to improve accuracy of a fog/edge-based classifier system are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a transducer to mounted on a tracked object, the transducer to generate data samples corresponding to the tracked object; a discriminator to: generate a first classification using a first model based on a first calculated feature of the first data samples from the transducer, the first model corresponding to calculated features determined from second data samples, the second data samples obtained prior to the first data samples; generate an offset based on a difference between a first model feature the first model and a second model feature of a second model, the second model being different than the first model; and adjust the first calculated feature using the offset to generate an adjusted feature; a pattern matching engine to generate a second classification using vectors corresponding to the second model based on the adjusted feature; and a counter to, when the first classification matches the second classification, increment a count.

    Abstract: Various systems and methods for exchanging digital information in an online competitive data market and exchange network are disclosed. A buyer utilizes one or more curry functions that are relevant to data to be acquired thereby developing a Future estimate for the data. The Future estimate may be recorded as a Margin Future with an escrow agent acting as an intermediary with investors. Investors may fund the Margin Future based on assessed risk and return on investment as defined in the Margin Future. Once funded, the buyer may acquire the data from the seller and apply value to the data by applying the curry functions, to result in digital information to be traded on the online exchange. Once the Future has been realized by sales to information consumers, the market may distribute the proceeds/profits among the seller, buyer, investor and escrow agent, according to conditions defined in the Margin Future.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for approving transactions for an electronic wallet (e-wallet). An example method includes combining a transaction with an M of N threshold authorization policy to create an approval request in an originating e-wallet share hosted in a first device. The approval request is signed in the originating e-wallet share to create an initial approval request. The initial approval request is provided to an anonymizing router to be transferred to another device hosting another e-wallet share for signing.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to perform remote monitoring are disclosed. Some example methods include adjusting an image capture rate at which an image sensor captures images based on a difference image containing differences between a first image of a first set of objects and a second image of a second set of objects. Example methods also include reducing a file size of the difference image using an edge detection technique and prioritizing one or more of a set of frames based on an amount of information contained in the frames. The frames are subdivisions of the image. In further example methods, the first image is taken at a first time and the second image is taken at a second, later time, and the method includes subtracting the first image from the second image to generate the difference image.

    Abstract: In various embodiments, an IoT device may provide selective reporting of collected data measurements. The IoT device may report the data via a network connection to an aggregator device. The IoT device may detect when the network connection has been interrupted, during which messages containing measurements may be cached. Later, when the network connection has been restored, the IoT device may “replay” the cached messages. The IoT device may selectively report cached messages based on an entropy analysis which may detect which measurements exhibit a higher entropy. The entropy analysis may determine which measurements show a higher rate of change or which have a value outside of a set of thresholds. The IoT device may select measurements based on a history of measurements obtained by the IoT device. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
