Abstract: Methods and systems for artificially intelligent security incident and event management using an attention-based deep neural network and transfer learning are disclosed. A method includes: collecting, by a computing device, system and network activity events in bulk; forming, by the computing device, a corpus using the collected system and network activity events; correlating, by the computing device, discrete events of the system and network activity events into offenses; adding, by the computing device, additional features to the corpus representing the offenses and disposition decisions regarding the offenses; training, by the computing device, a deep neural network using the corpus; and tuning, by the computing device, the deep neural network for a monitored computing environment using transfer learning.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer system and a computer program product orchestrate event-driven workloads in a satellite environment. The method includes receiving a workload from a client for deployment to a satellite in a plurality of satellites, where the workload includes requirements. The method also includes obtaining satellite data for each satellite in the plurality of satellites, where the satellite data includes a capability of the satellite and a current status of the satellite. The method further includes determining that the capability of the satellite satisfies the requirements of the workload. In addition, the method includes identifying a relevant satellite in the plurality of satellites based on the current status of the satellite. Lastly, the method includes deploying the workload to a ground station associated with the relevant satellite.

Abstract: An animal audio signature may be collected by a solar powered sound collection device. The solar powered collection device may use a supercapacitor to store power. The animal audio signature may be compared to a database of known animal audio signatures. The database may contain one or more identities for each of the known animal audio signatures. A known animal audio signature that matches the collected animal audio signature may be identified. An identity associated with the known animal audio signature may be transmitted to a data repository over a 5G wireless network.

Abstract: In an approach for interpreting one or more astronomical events and activating a network of telescopes for optimized observation of the one or more astronomical events, a processor monitors for a set of published content regarding the one or more astronomical events. Responsive to detecting the set of published content, a processor extracts, interprets, and correlates the set of published content to identify an area in space related to the one or more astronomical events for observation. A processor implements a monitoring system, wherein the monitoring system includes one or more registered telescopes of a network of telescopes to autonomously observe the area. A processor signals the one or more registered telescopes to capture an image of the one or more astronomical events. Responsive to the one or more registered telescopes capturing the image, a processor classifies one or more objects in the image. A processor publishes the image.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program for detecting natural language (NL) bias by a conversational system is described. Embodiments of the invention determine an NL bias in a set of training questions used to train a machine learning model used by the conversational system to select a user intent. Other embodiments of the invention determine an NL bias in a user question received by the conversation system as compared to the set of training questions. The NL bias causes the machine learning to preferentially associate user queries to a user intent. In respective embodiments, the system takes a corrective action to adjust the NL bias of the training questions or the user question.
