    摘要： A digital broadcasting stream transmitting method and a digital broadcasting stream receiving method and apparatus for providing three-dimensional (3D) video services are provided. The transmitting method including: generating a plurality of elementary streams (ESs) for a plurality of pieces of video information including at least one of information about a base-view video of a 3D video, information about an additional-view video corresponding to the base-view video, and a two-dimensional (2D) video having a different view from views of the 3D video; multiplexing the plurality of ESs with link information for identifying at least one piece of video information linked with the plurality of pieces of video information, to generate at least one transport stream (TS); and transmitting the generated at least one TS via at least one channel.

    摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for providing and reproducing a three-dimensional (3D) video content, and a computer readable recording medium storing a program to execute the method. The method of providing 3D image content includes: inserting content type information indicating whether the image content is two-dimensional (2D) image content or 3D image content into a reserved region of a Program Map Table (PMT); inserting additional information about the 3D image content into one of an Elementary Stream (ES) descriptor region of the PMT and a reserved region included in a video sequence of the ES; and multiplexing the PMT and the ES of the 3D image content so as to generate a Transport Stream (TS). Accordingly, compatibility with a conventional digital broadcasting system can be maintained and more realistic 3D image content can be provided to a user.

    摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding a datastream into which multiview image information is inserted. The method of decoding a multiview image datastream includes extracting multiview image information including information on at least one view image of a multiview image, from at least one elementary stream of the multiview image datastream; extracting a multiview image parameter regarding the multiview image based on the number of elementary streams and a correlation between view images of the multiview image; and restoring the multiview image by using the extracted multiview image parameter and the extracted multiview image information.
