Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate having a display region, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate, a plurality of first spacers formed on one of the first substrate and the second substrate and contacting with another one thereof, and a plurality of second spacers formed on one of the first substrate and the second substrate and contacting with another one thereof, wherein the display region has a first region and a second region with a curvature of the first substrate larger than a curvature of the first region, the plurality of first spacers is arranged in the first region, the plurality of second spacers is arranged in the second region, and an arrangement density D2 of the plurality of second spacers is higher than an arrangement density D1 of the plurality of first spacers.

Abstract: A problem to be solved is, in a thin type display panel with few bezel sections, improving strength in a curved part or adhesion between substrates. A display panel includes a first substrate having flexibility, a second substrate having flexibility, a sealant for adhering the first substrate and the second substrate, and an adhesion section for adhering the first substrate and the second substrate arranged on the inner side or outer side of the sealant, wherein a curved part is arranged on the inner side of the sealant, and the adhesion section is arranged in the curved part or in the vicinity of the curved part.

Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to suppress a displacement between the TFT substrate and the counter substrate in lateral direction in the liquid crystal display device. An example of the concrete structure is: a liquid crystal display device comprising: a TFT substrate, in which pixel electrodes are formed, a counter electrode, in which a black matrix is formed, the TFT substrate and the counter substrate being adhered by a sealing material, a liquid crystal being sealed inside from the sealing material, wherein a spacer is formed on either one of the TFT substrate or the counter substrate, a polymer pole is formed around the spacer and in contact with the spacer, a space between the TFT substrate and the counter substrate is maintained by the spacer.

Abstract: A thin display device with a less bezel portion is provided. The display device includes: a first substrate with flexibility, the first substrate having a display section including a first pixel; a second substrate with flexibility; and a sealant which bonds the first substrate and the second substrate together. A curved part is provided inside the sealant in a planar view. When a surface of the first substrate opposing the second substrate is taken as a front surface and a surface opposite to the front surface is taken as a back surface, the back surface inside the curved part and the back surface outside the curved part are overlapped each other in a planar view. The display section is provided in the curved part.
