Abstract: A portable insulin resistance diagnosis device includes: a housing capable of being grasped by an outer periphery thereof and comprising a space formed therein; a sensor unit which protrudes towards the outside of the housing and detects glucose and proteins in blood when a blood sample of a target specimen is dropped on the sensor unit, a diagnosis unit, which is provided inside the housing, amplifying an electrical signal generated according to concentrations of the blood glucose and proteins detected in the sensor unit, converting the electrical signal into a digital signal, and determining whether insulin resistance is normal; and a display unit, which is provided on an external surface of the housing, displaying whether insulin resistance analyzed in the diagnosis unit is normal.

Abstract: Provided are a device for a digital assay of targets according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure and a method using the same. The digital assay method of targets according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes acquiring an image for a plurality of microdroplets, predicting at least one region based on the image for the plurality of microdroplets using an artificial neural network-based prediction model configured to segment at least one region among positive microdroplets, negative microdroplets, and atypical microdroplets, with the image for the plurality of microdroplets as an input, determining a number for the plurality of microdroplets based on the at least one region, and providing quantitative data of targets based on the number for the plurality of microdroplets.

Abstract: A modular fluidic chip includes a body configured to have at least one flow channel formed in an inside thereof and be connected to another modular fluidic chip to allow the at least one flow channel to communicate with a flow channel provided in the other modular fluidic chip. A fluidic chip capable of performing one function is formed in the form of a module, whereby a fluidic flow system of various structures can be implemented without restriction in shape or size by connecting a plurality of fluidic chips capable of performing different functions as necessary. Through this, various and accurate experimental data can be obtained, and when a specific portion is deformed or damaged, only the fluidic chip corresponding thereto can be replaced, thereby reducing manufacture and maintenance costs.
