Abstract: A method, performed by an electronic device, of predicting an electronic structure of a material includes: receiving input data of a user related to elements constituting the first material; applying the received input data to a trained model for estimating a density of state of the first material; and outputting a first graph indicating the density of state for each energy level of the first material output from the trained model, wherein the trained model is trained to generate the first graph based on pre-input data about a plurality of second materials composed of at least some of the elements constituting the first material and a plurality of second graphs representing the density of state for each energy level of the plurality of second materials.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a Cu1.81S catalyst for synthesizing NH3 and a method for synthesizing NH3 using the same. According to the present disclosure, the Cu1.81S catalyst is provided in order to increase an efficiency of NH3 synthesis. A copper sulfide catalyst and the method for synthesizing NH3 via an electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR) using the Cu1.81S catalyst are provided in order to reduce a limiting potential (UL) required for the NRR. In the NRR for the NH3 synthesis, it is provided the copper sulfide catalyst that can be used in any one of two different pathways for the NRR, and the method for synthesizing NH3 with higher activity of the NRR based thereon.

Abstract: Disclosed is a core-shell structured nanocatalyst for hydrogen peroxide production. The core-shell structured nanocatalyst includes a core composed of spherical silica immobilized with noble metal nanoparticles and a mesoporous shell surrounding the core. The use of the nanocatalyst with a mesoporous shell for the production of hydrogen peroxide from hydrogen and oxygen ensures high hydrogen conversion and hydrogen peroxide production rate compared to the use of conventional nanoparticle catalysts with a microporous shell. Also disclosed is a method for hydrogen peroxide production using the nanocatalyst.
