    摘要： A probe and a testing head including the probe is used for inspecting electric characteristics of a wiring pattern of circuit board. The testing head includes a guiding member having a first guiding base having a first through hole, and a second guiding base arranged to face the first guiding base with a gap defined therebetween and having a second through hole aligned with the first through hole. The probe includes a first pin body having a measuring end arranged to be in contact with the circuit board, a measuring-end side of the first pin body is slidably supported in the first through hole of the first guiding base and the other-end side is slidably supported in the second through hole of the second guiding base. The probe also includes a second pin body arranged coaxial with the first pin body and supported in the second through hole. The second pin has one end directed to the other end of the first pin body and an external connection end to be connected to an electrode. A coil spring supported in the second through hole in a compressible manner, one end of the coil spring is electrically connected to the other end of the first pin body, and the other end of the coil spring is electrically connected to the one end of the second pin body.

    摘要： A preset range of hues, for which saturation (chroma) is to be enhanced, is stored in advance in a printer driver. The printer driver receives an input of color image data, enhances saturation (chroma) of the input color image data with regard to the preset range of hues, determines creation or non-creation of ink dots of multiple colors based on the image data of the enhanced saturation (chroma), and outputs the results of determination to a color printer. A resulting color image with enhanced saturation (chroma) with regard to the preset range of hues is then printed with the color printer. The arrangement of storing the preset range of hues, which are expressible with the color printer but can not attain so high saturation (chroma) as that of silver halide photographs enables images of high saturation (chroma) like the silver halide photographs to be printed.

    摘要： An simlified optical configuration is acheved and, a direction discrimination function and a high resolving detection function are performed by one light receiving section. A TE mode emitted from an optical waveguide section 3 transmits through a beam splitter 5 and is guided to a measurement optical path. A TM mode emitted from the optical waveguide is reflected by the beam splitter 5 and is guided to a reference optical path. First and second ¼ wave plates 10 and 11 are inserted in the respective optical paths, and the TE and TM modes are acted by a ½ wave plate while travelling forward and backward on the reference and measurement optical paths. A reference light (TM mode) is reflected by a reference reflection section 8 and transmits through the beam splitter section 5. A measurement light (TE mode) is reflected by a measurement reflection section 9 and is reflected by the beam splitter section 5. By a polarization member 12, only direction components of the polarization member 12 are extracted from the TM and TE modes, and both waves interfere, whereby a displacement is measured by a displacement measurement section 7.

    摘要： A transfer type ink jet printer having an ink jet head for ejecting droplets of ink in which charged coloring particles have been dispersed in a solvent in the form of insulating carrier liquid having a low dielectric constant, a transfer medium for carrying and moving an ink image formed of ink droplets ejected from the head, and a pressure roller for transferring the ink image written to the transfer medium to a recording medium. By temporarily fixing the charged coloring particles in the ink image onto the transfer medium until the ink image is led to the transfer means after the ink image is formed on the transfer medium, good and high-speed image printing has been made possible without vapor generation, so that an excellent image free from any printing pattern is available at a low transfer pressure. There is also provided a unit for removing a solvent by making the solvent on the transfer medium with the charged coloring particles temporarily fixed by the means for temporarily fixing the particles contact water or a surface active aqueous liquid agent.

    摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a thin endless filmm on which is formed a latent electrostatic image, the endless film having heat-resistant and dielectric properties, a transfer mechanism for transferring the endless film, a latent electrostatic image recording head disposed outside the endless film for recording a latent electrostatic image on the endless film, a developing unit disposed outside the endless film for developing the latent electrostatic image on the endless film by placing toner particles in close proximity to or bringing the toner particles into contact with the endless film, a back electrode and a heater disposed inside the endless film, a pressure roller opposed to the heater with respect to the endless film, and a discharge unit disposed outside the endless film for discharging the latent electrostatic image. Alternately, the endless film can be formed by depositing a thin heat-resistant dielectric layer on the surface of a thin, conductive endless film, in which case the back electrode can be omitted.
