    Abstract: A liquid-crystal display device and a driving method thereof are disclosed. The driving method of the liquid-crystal display device comprises: generating first and second power supply voltages; generating gamma-compensated voltages based on the first and second power supply voltages; converting data of an input image to the gamma-compensated voltages to output data voltages; distributing, by a multiplexer, the data voltages output from the data driver to a plurality of data lines; and varying at least one of the first and second power supply voltages at a given time interval.

    Abstract: A dimming control method of a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display (LCD) device driven at a driving frequency (f) of 60 Hz or lower includes a first step of driving the backlight unit using a first dimming value, and a second step of driving the backlight unit using a second dimming value higher than the first dimming value. The first step and the second step are alternately repeated and a repetition number of the second step within one period T of a driving frequency (f) is set to satisfy a condition of “{(60/f)−1}”. Here, f is a natural number lower than 60.

    Abstract: A display device can include a light emitting element and a pixel circuit including a driving transistor; a first capacitor connected between the driving transistor and a first node; a first transistor connected between the first capacitor and a data line to operate based on a first scan signal; a first light emission transistor connected between the first capacitor and a reference voltage line to operate based on a light emission signal; and a second light emission transistor connected between the driving transistor and a low-potential voltage line to operate based on the light emission signal. The first scan signal sequentially includes a dummy scan signal section and driving scan signal section for turning on the first transistor, and the light emission signal includes a coupling period for turning on the first and second light emission transistors between the dummy scan signal section and the driving scan signal section.

    Abstract: A display device with built-in touch sensors comprises: a display panel with built-in touch sensors; and a touch driver that converts a sensed voltage of the touch sensors into sensed data, wherein the touch driver comprises: an enable signal generator that compares the sensed voltage with a preset offset voltage and outputs an enable signal at a first level if the sensed voltage is higher than or equal to the offset voltage and outputs the enable signal at a second level if the sensed voltage is lower than the offset voltage; and an analog-to-digital converter that converts the sensed voltage into the sensed data when the enable signal is at the first level.
