    Abstract: A fan motor is provided that includes an inner housing having an inner space formed therein; a rotational shaft assembly supported in the inner housing and having a rotor and a bearing mounted on a rotational shaft thereof; a stator disposed to surround the rotor in the inner housing; an impeller connected to the rotational shaft; and an outer housing that surrounds an outer periphery of the inner housing and having an inlet body that guides air to the impeller. At least one heat dissipation vane is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the inner housing to guide air which passes between the inner housing and the outer housing after being suctioned into the inlet body, and thus, when being guided by the at least one heat dissipation vane, the air having been moved by the impeller may efficiently absorb heat transferred from the stator to the at least one heat dissipation vane and more stably flow than when colliding against the stator and the rotor, and thus, may be quickly discharged.

    Abstract: The vacuum suctioning unit of the present invention includes: a cover provided with an air entrance; an impeller for circulating air that enters the air entrance; a motor provided with a shaft connected to the impeller; a guide device for guiding the flow of air that exits an exit of the impeller; and a motor housing that houses the motor and is provided with an air exit. The guide device includes: a guide body disposed below the impeller; a first guide vane formed on a side surface of the guide body and guiding air discharged from the impeller; and a second guide vane formed on the bottom surface of the guide body and connected to the first guide vane to guide air that is moved by the first guide vane. The entrance angle of the first guide vane is within the range of 10 to 27 degrees.

    Abstract: A fan motor includes: a motor body; a rotary shaft assembly having a rotor and a bearing mounted on a rotary shaft; a stator that surrounds the rotor; an impeller connected to the rotary shaft; and a bracket including a bearing housing portion for receiving the bearing. The bearing housing portion defines a bearing heat dissipating flow path that allows air to be discharged to an outside of the bearing housing portion after passing between the outer surface of the bearing and the bearing housing portion. Air blown from the impeller can absorb heat of the bearing by contacting an outer surface of the bearing while passing through the bearing heat dissipating flow path.

    Abstract: A fan motor includes: a motor housing; a rotating shaft; a rotor; a stator disposed outside the rotor; an impeller having at least one blade and a hub; and an impeller cover surrounding an outer circumference of the impeller and defining an air suction inlet. The impeller cover includes: a shroud having an inner diameter that expands in an air flow direction; and a non-metallic coating layer coated on an inner circumferential surface of the shroud and having a lower strength than the blade. The non-metallic coating layer includes: a first area having a first thickness; a second area having a second thickness thinner than the first thickness and defining a stepped portion with the first area, thereby minimizing leakage flow caused by the pressure difference from a pressure-side surface to a suction-side surface of the blade to reduce flow path loss and improving efficiency of the fan motor.
