摘要： An image display device is provided which is capable of improving reproducibility of a white color. An RGB video signal is converted by a gamma converting section into three color luminance values and the maximum luminance value and minimum luminance value of the three color luminance values are calculated by a Min/Max calculating section. The first four color luminance values are calculated by an RGB luminance calculating section. A scaling factor is calculated by a scaling factor calculating section based on the first four color luminance values and the maximum luminance value. The second four color luminance values are calculated by an RGBW scaling luminance calculating section based on the first four color luminance values and on the scaling factor. An RGBW video signal corresponding to a gray level value of four color is generated by a reverse gamma converting section.

摘要： The present invention aims to insert a black screen in one frame period to alleviate moving image blur due to overlap recognition of a current frame image and an afterimage of the previous frame and improve the image quality of the moving image, and to set a black insertion rate with respect to one frame period to a value suited for each usage state. An enable signal (VOE) to each gate driver is independently controlled, and a start pulse (VSP) input to write a black signal is performed at an arbitrary timing within one frame period with respect to the gate driver to insert a black image within one frame period.

A monochrome image insertion drive control device generates the monochrome image inserted video signal including the video part and the monochrome image part to which the first correction or the second correction is performed, and controls the monochrome image insertion drive of the display panel.

The flow control valve can prevent over-discharge of the working fluid at the beginning of opening the valve.
