摘要:
Method for mold clamping of the present invention is capable of shortening a molding cycle without any initial setting works for an engaging position of a tie bars. The method is constituted the steps of moving the tie bars in the direction of mold closing during mold close operation, judging a relative moving speed between a movable die plate and the tie bar to be within a predetermined value, engaging the tie bars with the movable die plate mechanically by operating an engaging means when the relative moving speed is judged to be within the value, then further moving the movable die plate against a fixed die plate under engagement, and after contact of a movable mold with a fixed mold driving a mold clamping cylinder, thereby executing mold clamping operation.

A filling step control method of an injection molding machine for filling a molten resin into a die cavity is provided. The control method has the steps of: sampling in initiating the filling step for filling the molten resin into the die cavity by controlling an injection speed and, thereafter, by controlling a filling pressure while not exceeding a predetermined value; storing the injection speed over an entire filling process when a quality product can be stably obtained during the sampling step into a storage medium as a reference waveform; and after storing the reference waveform, molding for filling the molten resin into the die cavity by controlling the injection speed to follow the reference waveform over the entire filling step.

The tail end of a heating barrel is supported by a front plate. The tail end portion of a screw is rotatably supported by an intermediate plate. Bearings are built in the rear plate. The nut of each of ball screws is attached to the front surface of the rear plate through a hollow shaft and the bearing. Through holes are provided in the intermediate plate. To the front surface of the intermediate plate are fixed load cells so as to block the front of the through holes. The leading end portion of the threaded rod of each of the ball screws and leading end portion of the nut are inserted in each of the through holes. The leading end of the threaded rod is fixed to the rear surface of the load cell.

A control device of an injection molding machine which injects a molten resin from an injection nozzle is provided with a display section in which a touch panel is disposed, and a human-machine interface section equipped with a general-purpose operating system, and the human-machine interface section is provided with at least a storage section to store set values which are various molding conditions for each mold article and a control section which controls the display of the display section. The interface section displays, on the display section, a main screen to change settings for the molding conditions stored in the storage section and a subscreen to display indications such as monitors, and also constantly displays a change switch for a change of the screen in a fixed region of the display section.

A cathode-side first sealed portion (14) and an anode-side first sealed portion (15) are respectively provided at the two opposing ends of a discharge space (21) of a discharge casing (11). A middle chamber (16) filled with a rare gas is provided adjacent to the anode-side first sealed portion (15). A second sealed portion (18) is provided adjacent to the middle chamber (16). Each sealed portion (14),(15),(18) is airtightly sealed by the pinch sealing method. A cathode (22) is welded to a metal foil conductor (24) disposed in the cathode-side first sealed portion (14). An anode (23) is welded to a metal foil conductor (32) disposed in the anode-side first sealed portion (15). The metal foil conductor (32) in the anode-side first sealed portion (15) and a metal foil conductor (35) in the second sealed portion (18) are connected to each other by means of a lead wire (33) passing through the middle chamber (16). A lead wire (36) that is drawn out of the lamp is welded to the metal foil conductor (35) in the second sealed portion (18). A sufficient distance from the discharge space (21), from which the heat is conducted, to the second sealed portion (18) exposed to the outside air can easily be ensured. Therefore, the invention is capable of ensuring the functioning of the high pressure discharge lamp (1) to the end of its life by protecting the welded portions of the lead wire (36) from deterioration, which may otherwise occur due to the exposure to the outside air at high temperature.

In a discharge lamp having a discharge medium sealed in a discharge tube assembly including electrodes for producing a discharge, a nitride layer is formed on a surface of an envelope tube of the discharge tube assembly. The nitride layer is formed by substituting an oxygen component of an oxide constituting the tube wall of the envelope tube with nitrogen, and exhibits a continuous and smooth reduction in nitride content in the direction of depth. This chemically stable nitride layer prevents a reaction between the discharge medium and the tube wall material, and removal or injection of the discharge medium. In addition, since the nitride layer also exhibits a continuous change in thermal expansion coefficient in the direction of depth, the thermal stress is reduced, and cracking, peeling, removal, and the like do not occur.

Used in a method of this invention is a die clamping unit, which comprises a tie bar movably attached to a stationary platen, a halfnut positioning servomotor which advances and retreats to the tie bar, a halfnut which is provided on a movable platen and fixes the movable platen and the tie bar together by engaging the tie bar, an engaging mechanism which engages the halfnut with the tie bar, a hydraulic die clamping cylinder which presses the stationary platen and the movable platen, and a control device which controls the halfnut positioning servomotor and the hydraulic cylinder. The control device drives the halfnut positioning servomotor to remove a clearance between the halfnut and an engaging groove of the tie bar before a die clamping process carried out by the hydraulic cylinder.
