    摘要： A hand blender powered by an electric motor, for mixing or comminuting foodstuffs in a container, includes a working shaft having an output end, a processing tool attached to the output end of the working shaft, a shaft housing which carries the working shaft, and a bell-shaped casing enclosing the processing tool. The bell-shaped casing has a lower chamber, a lower end bounded by an aperture, and a plurality of lateral openings for the discharge of foodstuffs. A cover plate within the bell-shaped casing forms a fluid-tight seal between the lower chamber and an inner chamber of the shaft housing. The hand blender also includes an air supply structure through which outside air is supplied to the lower chamber of the bell-shaped casing when the bell-shaped casing is immersed in the foodstuffs. The air supply structure includes a flow channel with an inlet side which communicates with the outside air and an outlet side which communicates with the lower chamber of the bell-shaped casing.

    摘要： The art knows of a processing tool for mixing or comminuting food materials, with a working shaft (4) which is carried in a shaft housing (2) in the area of its input end and is adapted to be coupled to a drive motor of a kitchen appliance. In the area of its output end, the shaft (4) is centrally carried in a bearing sleeve (7) and fixed in an axial direction and has fastened to its output end a work performing element (6), said shaft housing (2) merging in the area of the output end of the shaft (4) into a flared bell-shaped housing (3) whose inner space is separated from the inner space of the shaft housing (2) by a cover plate (18) through which the shaft output end extends outwardly by passing through a bore (24). The bearing sleeve (7) is inserted and held in an axial direction in a supporting member (8) which bears against the cover plate (18) on the side pointing towards the interior of the shaft housing (2) and overlaps axially with an extension (17) of the cover plate (18). For easy, rapid and accurate assembly, the supporting member (8) is firmly connected with the extension (17) of the cover plate (18) by means of locking members (19), and the cover plate (18), the supporting member (8) and the bearing sleeve (7) are mounted on the working shaft (4) to form a subassembly that is removeable from the processing tool as a unit.

    摘要： An electrically operated hand mixer includes processing tools drivable by an electric motor for processing foods, and a housing accommodating the electric motor. A handle for manipulating the hand mixer is provided on the housing and extends substantially transversely to the longitudinal axis of the processing tools, wherein a connecting cable extends from the housing at the end remote from the processing tools and is swivellably guided in an antikink joint adapted to be swung from the housing. A winding-up arrangement is provided on the housing permitting winding the connecting cable onto the appliance. The antikink joint additionally serves as the winding-up arrangement in conjunction with a snap-in locking arrangement which, in a fixed position, along with the winding-up arrangement, permits guiding the connecting cable during the winding-up action. A reliable winding-up arrangement is achieved thereby in a simple manner.

    摘要： The invention is directed to a handheld or immersion blender including a coupling device (1) for separating the shank provided with a processing tool from the electrically powered drive part, with an upper coupling part (2) arranged on the drive part having locking elements and a lower coupling part (3) arranged on the tool shank having detent elements, which enable the coupling device (1) to be interlocked axially. In this arrangement the locking elements are formed by spring-loaded holding lugs (11) projecting radially outwardly, and the detent elements are formed by recesses (16) on the inner circumference of the lower coupling part (3), with the upper coupling part (2) being twistable relative to the lower coupling part (3), whereby a releasable coupling is obtained. An improved handheld or immersion blender is thereby made available. The processes of coupling and decoupling an attachment to and from a drive part are made possible readily and without any major force using a simple click-in/turn-out motion. With the coupling of the handheld or immersion blender of the invention requiring only a small number of components and with no need to fit any additional actuating elements, blender operation is simple and manufacture straightforward.

The switch can be operated in a temporary mode or in a continuous mode, depending on the respective attachment coupled to the appliance. An interlocking means is provided for the actuating element and is either engaged with a counterpart to the interlocking means or not, depending on the type of attachment coupled to the appliance.

    摘要： The invention is directed to a safety device for a jug blender that has a blender jug (10) adapted for seating engagement with a base (7) equipped with a drive motor. The safety device includes two vertically movable actuating pins (1) arranged in spaced relation to each other and projecting upwardly through the wall of the base (7), and the blender jug (10) has actuating points (11) cooperating therewith which, with the blender jug (10) properly assembled, urge the two actuating pins (1) simultaneously and evenly horizontally in downward direction in order to thus close the circuit supplying the drive motor. Any improper handling or activation of the motor with the blender jug (10) not properly positioned is avoided by connecting actuating members with the actuating pins (1) in the base (7) in such manner that a safety switch does not close unless the pins (1) are urged down evenly and at the same time horizontally.
