摘要: A cooling structure of a rotating electrical machine including a stator and a rotor, the cooling structure including magnet accommodating holes provided in a rotor core of the rotor, the magnet accommodating holes extend between axial core end faces of the rotor core, wherein permanent magnets are accommodated in the magnet accommodating holes; a plurality of voids, which prevent leakage flux, in contact with the permanent magnets and extending between the axial core end faces; and a rotor cooling-liquid supply passage that supplies cooling liquid to one core end face, wherein the cooling liquid supplied from the rotor cooling-liquid supply passage is introduced into the voids to prevent leakage flux, and the permanent magnets are cooled by the cooling liquid flowing through the voids.

摘要: A first element of a duplex planetary gear set is selectively coupled to an input shaft via a third clutch, or is selectively fixed via a first brake. A second element is selectively coupled, via a second clutch, to an intermediate shaft that is directly coupled to a speed-increasing element of a simplex planetary gear set which increases the rotational speed of the input shaft, or is selectively fixed via a second brake. A third element is directly coupled to an output shaft. A fourth element is selectively coupled to the input shaft via a first clutch. Therefore, by increasing the speed of the rotation of the input shaft by the simplex planetary gear set and transferring it to the duplex planetary gear set, it is possible to reduce the torques on individual components of an automatic transmission and therefore to reduce the sizes of the individual components and the capacities of the individual friction engagement elements.

摘要: An electric power steering system comprising an upper bracket, a steering column, a steering shaft provided rotatably within the steering column, a tilt mechanism comprising a tilt clamp which tightly fastens the steering column between tightening plate portions of the upper bracket and a tilt pivot which oscillates the steering column, an electric assist unit provided at a lower end of the steering column, and a lower bracket fixed to the vehicle body at an opposite side of the electric assist unit to the steering column to rotatably support a pivot shaft of the tile pivot. A housing of the electric assist unit is brought into engagement with a pivot shaft of the tilt pivot in such a manner as to be allowed to move loosely, so that the steering column is allowed to oscillate about the pivot shaft, and a column rotation restricting portion is provided between the lower bracket and the housing.

摘要: A rotor core for a rotary electric machine includes a plurality of ring-shaped core plates. The core plates are formed by joining arc-shaped segments. The core plate segments each include a protruding portion that is formed on one surface of each of the segments and has an end in the circumferential direction that is arc-shaped, and a recessed portion that is formed on the other surface and has an end in the circumferential direction that is arc-shaped, and to which the protruding portion of the core plate segment of another layer is fitted when the core plates are laminated. An interference fit is provided between the protruding portion width of the core plates and the recessed portion of the core plates in the radial direction and a loose fit is provided in the circumferential direction.
