    摘要: A method for fabricating an integrated optical isolator includes depositing a wire grid material on a magneto-optical substrate and depositing a resist film on the wire grid material. The method further includes bringing a mold with a wire grid pattern on contact with the resist film and compressing the mold and resist film together so as to emboss the wire grid pattern in the resist film. The method further includes transferring the wire grid pattern in the resist film to the wire grid material on the magneto-optical substrate by etching.

    摘要: A reflective polarzier for visible light wavelengths formed of a plurality of polarizer units. Each polarizer unit having a transparent, inorganic substrate with first and second opposing surfaces. The first surface is coated with a single layer of a dielectric material, and the second surface is coated with a layer of a highly reflective metal film or a dielectric material. The polarizer is configured to produce a “quasi-straight path,” such that a light ray exiting the substrate is substantially parallel with a corresponding, incident light ray entering the substrate. The polarizer exhibits polarization over the entire visible spectrum.

The container comprises a flexible material with pores. The sealing substance comprises dried honey, is disposed in the pores of the material, and has a higher melting point than the honey in a semi-solid state. The container and sealing substance are configured to resist substantial movement of the honey in a semi-solid state and the at least one substance through the pores of the material until the sealing substance reaches a temperature above the melting point of the honey in a semi-solid state.

The device comprises glazing material associated with a shrinkable, hollow carrier. The method comprises associating glazing material with a hollow carrier composed of a shrinkable and removable material, assembling the construct and carrier with the construct positioned within the carrier, shrinking the carrier onto the construct, removing the carrier, and maturing the material to a glaze. The device and method find particular application in applying coloration, either uniformly or in a pattern, to a dental construct.
