    摘要: The present invention is a system including a modular hardware platform consisting of Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, a programmable micro controller unit, a communication module and a software platform, programmable on site to track, monitor and control access to cargo containers, truck trailers and similar transportable devices to curtail theft, pilferage and from intercession by third parties such as terrorists. The system enables access to the interior of a container to a digital key which contains an authorization password to initiate access to the container. The system may be programmed such that access is denied until the container reaches a preprogrammed destination.

    摘要: A vehicle door latch is provided having unlock latched and unlatched positions, the door latch having at least one locking/unlocking actuator for moving the latch between locked latched and unlocked latched positions, and the door latch having a freewheeling transfer lever operatively connected to at least one release handle, the transfer lever being provided for moving the door latch to the unlatched position. The door latch has a feature to allow the locking/unlocking actuator to move the latch from the locked latched position to the unlocked latched position while the door release handle is previously or simultaneously actuated, by subsequent release of the door release handle without reactivation of the locking/unlocking actuator.

    摘要: An antitheft apparatus for an automotive vehicle includes: door lock mechanism assemblies (110, 210, 310 and 410) for locking vehicle doors, respectively; constraining (stopper) members for constraining the door lock mechanism assemblies once actuated to a lock status so as not to be unlocked, respectively; a set switch (125) for outputting a constraint command for constraining the door lock mechanism assemblies once actuated to the lock status so as not to be unlocked; and a controller (1) responsive to the constraint command outputted by the set switch, for first locking the doors by the door lock mechanism assemblies and then constraining the door lock mechanism assemblies to the lock status by use of constraining members, respectively. When the command for constraining the door lock status is outputted, since the doors are first locked by the lock mechanism assemblies and thereafter the lock mechanism assemblies are constrained to the lock status, even if the door is unlocked after the doors have been locked, it is possible to securely constrain all the doors to the lock status.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for monitoring the closure of the opening points of a motor vehicle, in which each opening point is equipped with a closure contact which is connected to a central unit. It is characterized in that the central unit is connected to all the opening points by a single common line (8) with two conductors (31, 32), in that the central unit comprises at least one periodic-signal generator (28) connected to the said two conductors, in that each opening point comprises a passive receiver circuit tuned to the frequency of the periodic signal supplied by the said generator (28) of the central unit, the said passive circuit being connected in series with the closure contact of the said opening point, and in that the said device comprises, furthermore, indicia of a closure fault in response to the variations of the signal generated by the generator in response to the actuation of the corresponding closure contact.

    摘要: A motor-vehicle door latch for use on a vehicle door having inside and outside handles and inside and outside locking elements has a housing, a latch fork pivotal on the housing and engageable in a locking position with a door bolt to retain same and lock the door, inside and outside operating levers pivoted on the housing and connected to the respective handles, and inside and outside locking levers pivoted on the housing and connected to the respective locking elements. An actuating lever operatively engageable with the fork can release same from the locking position and a link coupled to the locking levers is displaceable thereby between a position coupling the outside operating lever to the actuating lever for displacement of the fork out of the locking position by actuation of the outside operating lever and a position decoupling the outside operating lever from the actuating lever. Thus in the decoupling position actuation of the outside operating lever will not unlock the door. A central actuating unit has motor whose spindle carrier a nut that can move an antitheft lever into an antitheft position. Mechanism connected between the antitheft lever, the inside levers, and the link decouples the inside levers from the actuating lever in the antitheft position of the antitheft lever. Thus in the antitheft position actuation of the inside operating lever will not be able to release the fork and actuation of the inside locking lever will not unlock the door.
