Abstract: A method and telecommunication equipment item for detecting a cable of a network of cables, in particular of a network of electrical cables, especially ones which are not detectable to the naked eye. For example, a network of electrical cables may be embedded inside the partitions of a building. The telecommunication equipment item has a receiver and a detector of a predefined electrical signal injected into a network of cables as a function of electromagnetic signals received by the receiver. Thus, the receiver is not required to be a specific equipment item dedicated solely to this use but may be implemented in a telecommunication equipment item with which users are widely equipped such as a smartphone, a tablet, etc.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described which relate to the assistance or guidance of a user in the detection of an element in an area. A search assistant for searching for an element in an area may include a direction changer for changing the direction of emission of a visible signal on the basis of detected relative data of an element sought in the area, the relative data detected by at least one sensor such as an audio sensor or a video sensor. Such a search assistant may use a simple visible signal for guidance toward the element sought in the area. The technology used may be easy to implement, cheap and readily accessible, allowing guidance precision that depends solely on the precision of the known or detected location of the sought object.

A motor with predictive adjustment is described, as well as a motor controller of a vehicle, which is capable of automatically adjusting a physical parameter of a motor, such as the width of the air gap of an electric motor. A motor of a vehicle can include at least one physical parameter capable of being adjusted according to characteristic data predicted from the current path of the vehicle based on data provided by at least one vehicle motor sensor. Thus, the motor can be automatically adjusted according to characteristic data predicted from the current path based on the data of a motor sensor for optimizing the use of the motor, with respect to a parameter such as power consumption, transmission efficiency, or rotor warming, regardless of the route.
