Abstract: The present invention provides a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and which is characterized in that: the positive electrode comprises a positive electrode collector and a positive electrode mixture layer that is arranged on the positive electrode collector; the positive electrode mixture layer comprises secondary particles, each of which is composed of aggregated primary particles of a positive electrode active material, and an assembly of a conductive material and the primary particles of the positive electrode active material; and the assembly is present in the gaps among the secondary particles.

Abstract: A lithium secondary battery includes: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution filled between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode includes: an electrically conductive layer having a surface; and lithium metal pieces arranged spaced from each other on the surface of the electrically conductive layer. Abstract: A lithium secondary battery includes: a positive electrode; a negative electrode including a negative electrode collector having a surface, on which a lithium metal is deposited during charge; a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution filled between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode collector includes projection portions projecting from the surface toward the separator. There is no projection portion on an imaginary line extending from a first end to a second end opposite to the first end of the surface of the negative electrode collector and traversing a space between the projection portions.
