Abstract: A detection device comprises a cyclone-type collection part for collecting particles contained in a gas into a collection liquid with a swirling airflow, a detection part for detecting the particles collected by the cyclone-type collection part; and a cleaning part for cleaning the cyclone-type collection part with a cleaning liquid. The cleaning part cleans the cyclone-type collection part by swirling the cleaning liquid with the swirling airflow generated in the cyclone-type collection part.

Abstract: A pathogen detection apparatus includes an obtainer that measures a body temperature of a subject and outputs information indicating the body temperature, a collector that performs a pathogen collection operation for collecting a pathogen carried by the subject or a pathogen in air around the subject, a detector that performs a pathogen detection operation for detecting the pathogen collected by the collector, a notifier that provides a notification indicating a detection result obtained by the detector, and a controller. In a case where the body temperature output by the obtainer is higher than a predetermined threshold value and the detection result obtained by the detector is negative, the controller controls the detector to perform another pathogen detection operation for detecting a pathogen.

Abstract: An infection risk map provision system includes virus sensors for detecting viruses in the air, the virus sensors being provided at different positions, a communication unit that collects detection information obtained by the virus sensors, and a control unit that provides, on the basis of the detection information, an infection risk map representing the distribution of infection risk information. The control unit sets display granularity for the infection risk information on the infection risk map displayed on an information terminal on the basis of granularity information corresponding to the virus sensors and creates the infection risk map by superimposing the infection risk information upon a map on the basis of the set display granularity and positional information.

Abstract: Provided is a fabrication method of a photocatalytic material in which a single layer of a carbon-based participate is formed on a surface of each of titanium dioxide particle. The method includes (a) loading titanium dioxide particles into an electric furnace comprising a mechanism for rotating a core tube; (b) heating an inside of the core tube of the electric furnace into which the titanium dioxide particles have been loaded to a temperature of not less than 400° C. and not more than 800° C., while an inert gas is introduced into the inside of the core tube; (c) supplying a hydrocarbon gas to the inside of the core tube in addition to the inert gas; and (d) performing a thermal CVD on each of the titanium dioxide particles in a fluidized state inside the core tube, while the core tube is rotated, to form a single layer of a carbon-based precipitate containing graphene on a surface of each of the titanium dioxide particles. A photocatalyst material is provided.
