Abstract: An image processing device (10) comprises the following: an image acquisition unit (1) for acquiring an image in which markers for calibration are captured; an edge detection unit (2) for detecting the edges of the markers in the image; a polygon generating unit (3) for estimating a plurality of straight lines on the basis of the edges and generating a virtual polygon region that is surrounded by the plurality of straight lines, the generation being carried out in the image in a region thereof including regions other than those where markers are installed; and a camera parameter calculation unit (4) for calculating camera parameters on the basis of the characteristic amount, with respect to the image, of the virtual polygon region and the characteristic amount, with respect to real space, of the virtual polygon region.

Abstract: A drowsiness determination device includes an input unit that receives vehicle information indicating the amount of variation in an attitude of a vehicle with respect to a road surface and head information indicating the amount of movement of a head of an occupant with respect to a predetermined position and a determination unit that determines whether the occupant is drowsy, on the basis of the vehicle information and the head information. The determination unit determines that the occupant is drowsy, on the conditions that when the vehicle attitude varies, the occupant head moves in the same direction as the direction in which the vehicle attitude has varied and that a delay time between the timing when the vehicle attitude has varied and the timing when the occupant head has moved is longer than a predetermined time.

Abstract: A driving assistance device can be installed in a vehicle in which either an automatic driving mode or a manual driving mode is selected for traveling. A receiving unit receives a switching request for a driving mode. A generating unit generates switching notification information for a switching notice in accordance with the switching request received by the receiving unit. An output unit outputs the switching notification information to a presentation unit that presents, outward from the vehicle, the switching notice indicated by the switching notification information generated by the generating unit.

Abstract: A method capable of causing a driver to recognize multiple objects to which attention should be paid without requiring sight line shift of the driver is for a video system including a recognition unit that recognizes a moving body existing in a foreground of a user and a display source that displays a certain image generated on the basis of a result of the recognition by the recognition unit on a display medium. The method includes determining whether two or more moving bodies exist in the foreground of the user on the basis of an input data from the recognition unit; and controlling the display source, if two or more moving bodies exist, so as to generate the certain image representing a virtual line directed to each of the moving bodies from a certain position or a certain axis and display the certain image on the display medium.

Abstract: An image processor includes an image converter. The image converter transforms data of an image that is photographed with a camera for photographing a seat, based on a transformation parameter that is calculated in accordance with a camera-position at which the camera is disposed. The image converter outputs the thus-transformed data of the image. The transformation parameter is a parameter for transforming the data of the image such that an appearance of the seat depicted in the image is approximated to a predetermined appearance of the seat.
