Abstract: A flyback power converter includes a primary side controller circuit for controlling a primary side switch; and a secondary side controller circuit for generating an SR (Synchronous Rectification) signal to control an SR switch. The SR signal includes an SR pulse and a ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) pulse. The SR pulse controls the SR switch for synchronous rectification at the secondary side. The secondary side controller circuit samples and holds a voltage at a first end of the SR switch as a first voltage at a timing between the end of the ZVS pulse and the beginning of the SR pulse, and determines a length of the ZVS pulse so as to control the SR switch to be conductive for a ZVS time period, whereby the primary side switch achieves ZVS. The first voltage is proportional to an input voltage.

Abstract: A switching controller circuit for controlling a flyback power converter includes: a power transformer, a primary side controller circuit and a secondary side controller circuit. The power transformer is coupled between the input voltage and the output voltage in an isolated manner. The primary side controller circuit controls a primary side switch of the flyback power converter. The secondary side controller circuit generates a synchronous rectification (SR) signal, to control an SR switch of the flyback power converter. The SR signal includes an SR pulse and a soft switching (SS) pulse. The SR pulse controls the SR switch to be ON for an SR period, to achieve synchronous rectification at the secondary side. The SS pulse controls the SR switch to be ON for an SS period, to achieve soft switching of the primary side switch.

Abstract: A flyback power converter includes a power transformer, a first lossless voltage conversion circuit, a first low-dropout linear regulator and a secondary side power supply circuit. The first low-dropout linear regulator (LDO) generates a first operation voltage as power supply for being supplied to a sub-operation circuit. The secondary side power supply circuit includes a second lossless voltage conversion circuit and a second LDO. The second LDO generates a second operation voltage. The first operation voltage and the second operation voltage are shunted to a common node. When a first lossless conversion voltage is greater than a first threshold voltage, the second LDO is enabled to generate the second operation voltage to replace the first operation voltage as power supply supplied to the sub-operation circuit; wherein the second lossless conversion voltage is lower than the first lossless switching voltage.

Abstract: A flyback power converter circuit includes: a transformer; a primary side switch, for controlling a primary winding to convert an input voltage to an output voltage and an internal voltage; a primary side control circuit, which is powered by the internal voltage; the primary side control circuit generates a switching signal according to a feedback signal, to operate the primary side switch; a secondary side control circuit, which generates the feedback signal according the output voltage; and a dummy load circuit, which is coupled to the output voltage, wherein when the output voltage drops to or is lower than a predetermined threshold, the dummy load circuit generates a dummy load current, to determine the feedback signal, so that the internal voltage is not undesirably low. When the output voltage exceeds the predetermined threshold, the dummy load circuit adjusts the dummy load current to zero current.

Abstract: A voltage regulator for converting an input voltage to an output voltage includes: a first and a second high-side switch, a first and a second low-side switch and a control terminal which is for generating a reference voltage or determining a forced pass-through mode. The output voltage is determined according to the reference voltage during a buck mode and a boost mode. When the input voltage is higher than a first threshold, the voltage regulator is operated in the buck mode. When the input voltage is lower than a second threshold, the voltage regulator is operated in the boost mode. When the input voltage is lower than the first threshold and is higher than the second threshold, the voltage regulator is operated in a pass-through mode. When a voltage of the control terminal is lower than a third threshold, the voltage regulator is operated in the forced pass-through mode.

Abstract: The present invention provides a resonant switched capacitor voltage converter (RSCC), which is coupled to and operates synchronously with another RSCC. The RSCC includes: plural switches, a resonant inductor, a resonant capacitor, and a control circuit. The control circuit controls the switches, so that the resonant capacitor and the resonant inductor are connected in series to each other, to perform resonant operation in a switching period, thus converting an input voltage to an output voltage. The control circuit generates a zero current signal and a first synchronization signal when a resonant inductor current flowing through the resonant inductor is zero. The control circuit turns off at least one corresponding switch according to the zero current signal. The control circuit turns on at least one corresponding switch according to the zero-current signal and a second synchronization signal, so that the RSCC operates in synchronization with at least another RSCC.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an input/output (I/O) signal processing circuit and processing method. The I/O signal processing circuit includes a level adjustable I/O circuit and an adjustment circuit. The I/O signal processing circuit includes an output driver and/or an input comparator. The output driver transmits an output signal via a signal transmission line according to an output data. The output driver has an adjustable high operation voltage level and an adjustable low operation voltage level, which determine a high level and a low level of the output signal, respectively. The input comparator receives an input signal via the signal transmission line and comparing the input signal with an adjustable reference voltage, so as to generate an input data. The adjustment circuit generates an adjustment signal according to voltage drop related information, to correspondingly adjust the adjustable high and low operation voltage level and/or the adjustable reference voltage.
