Abstract: An apparatus for humidifying a flow of pressurised, breathable air includes varying a first pressure of the flow of breathable gas to vary a level of thermal engagement between the conductive portion of the reservoir and the heater plate, varying a height of the variable portion varies a level of thermal engagement between the conductive portion of the reservoir and the heater plate, use of a humidifier reservoir base component with a maximum water capacity substantially equal to the predetermined maximum volume of water of the humidifier reservoir or the use of intersecting inlet and outlet axes.

Abstract: A reservoir configured to retain a volume of liquid for use in an apparatus for humidifying a flow of pressurised air comprises a base portion and a lid portion. The reservoir may be configured to improve its level of thermal contact to the heater plate using the flow of pressurised air. The reservoir may be configured to improve thermal contact between the reservoir and the heater plate by pre-compression upon engagement of the reservoir with the humidifier. The reservoir may comprise a removable intermediate portion, which may include the inlet tube and/or the outlet tube, for improved access for cleaning. The reservoir may also be configured to prevent overfilling. Overfill prevention features in the reservoir may include defined flow egress paths and/or formation of air locks.

Abstract: Aspects of the present technology comprise a positioning and stabilising structure to hold a seal-forming structure in a therapeutically effective position on a head of a patient. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise at least one gas delivery tube to deliver the flow of air to the entrance of a patient's airways via the seal-forming structure. The at least one gas delivery tube may be constructed and arranged to contact, in use, at least a region of the patient's head superior to an otobasion superior of the patient's head. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise an adjustment mechanism for adjustment of a length of the at least one gas delivery tube to enable the positioning and stabilising structure to fit different size heads. The positioning and stabilising structure may comprise a bias mechanism to impart a biasing force along at least a part of a length of the at least one gas delivery tube to urge the seal-forming structure towards the entrance of the patient's airways in use.

Abstract: A humidifier comprises a water reservoir and a reservoir dock configured to receive the water reservoir in an operative position. The water reservoir is configured to hold a volume of liquid. The water reservoir includes a chamber and a single conduit providing an inner opening arranged within the chamber. The reservoir dock includes a dock inlet conduit arranged to receive the flow of air from the RPT device. The dock inlet conduit is structured and arranged to extend within the single conduit of the water reservoir when the water reservoir reaches the operative position such that the dock inlet conduit and the single conduit at least partially overlap one another. The dock inlet conduit includes an inner opening arranged adjacent the inner opening of the single conduit when the water reservoir reaches the operative position, the inner openings of the dock inlet conduit and the single conduit arranged to provide an inlet for the flow of air into the chamber and an outlet for delivering a humidified flow of air from the chamber.

Abstract: A respiratory pressure therapy (RPT) device is disclosed for treatment of respiratory-related disorders.
