    Abstract: A thermally expandable composition, including: (a) at least one polymer P, cross-linkable by a free-radical initiator; (b) at least one acrylate A; (c) at least one free-radical initiator; (d) at least one blowing agent; and (e) at least one surfactant, whereby the surfactant is a sulfonate salt. The thermally expandable composition is able to provide sufficient expansion behaviour when used in the form of a thin layer and is especially suitable for baffle and/or reinforcement elements.
