Abstract: Embodiments herein provide methods and systems for managing and optimizing reception of SCPTM services. The services can be prioritized based on the attributes of the services. Based on the priorities the services can be received if there is a conflict in scheduling the reception of the services. The services can be scheduled in multiple RF carriers, if a single RF carrier cannot support receiving all the services to be received. The number of services that can be supported for reception can be informed to a network, which can optimize the scheduling of the services. The network can multiplex plurality of services in a single G-RNTI. The variations in SC-MCCH duration of a service can be known by monitoring DCI at modification period boundaries of a service.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) configured with an uplink (UL) split bearer and method for packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) control protocol data unit (PDU) transmission by the UE are provided. The method includes triggering, by the UE, a PDCP control PDU; determining, by the UE, whether a UL grant is available for a master evolved node B (eNB); transmitting, by the UE, the PDCP control PDU on a link associated with the master eNB, if the UL grant is available for the master eNB; and transmitting, by the UE, the PDCP control PDU on a link associated with a secondary eNB, when the UL grant is unavailable for the master eNB.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes method and system for notifying resource capability of user equipment. In accordance with the embodiments, the method includes determining an event related to one or more multimedia multicast-broadcast service (MBMS) service of interest to the UE in receive only mode (ROM) session when a system information related to MBMS is not broadcasted by a serving cell after transmission of an interest indication for MBMS service to the serving cell wherein the event indicates one of: (a) the UE is not interested in the one or more MBMS service through the ROM session; and (b) the UE is not in reception of the one or more MBMS service through the ROM session; and transmitting a ROM service interest indication for the one or more MBMS service through the ROM session corresponding to the determined event to the serving cell.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses systems and methods for providing continuous Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) and unicast services during mobility. On detecting mobility from a first cell to a second cell, the User Equipment (UE) receives system information and a preamble transmission signal. A System Information (SI) time window is determined from the system information and a Random-Access Response (RAR) window is determined using the preamble transmission signal. The UE performs either an SI-Radio Network Temporary Identifier (SI-RNTI) decode on System Information Block Type 2 (SIB2) during the SI time window or a Random Access (RA)-RNTI decode during the RAR window. Subsequently, the UE decodes MBMS-RNTI (M-RNTI) before and after the selected window based on an MBMS configuration received from the first cell. Thereafter, the UE receives a Multimedia Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) configuration for the second cell, which is enables uninterrupted MBMS and unicast services.

Abstract: The present subject matter describes performing radio resource management (RRM) measurements by a WTRU in a 3GPP networks. The method comprise defining at-least one of: a) a channel condition threshold, b) a WTRU mobility threshold, and c) a measurement-reliability threshold. A first sub-set of reference-signal samples are measured out of a set of reference-signal samples based on sensing at least one of current channel conditions and mobility-conditions. A reliability-parameter associated with the first sub-set of measured samples is checked. Finally, network-measurement operation is concluded in case of the reliability-parameter being in accordance with the pre-defined reliability-thresholds.
