The audio signal processing method includes checking property information of an audio signal in response to a request for playing the audio signal; processing, when property information fulfills a first condition, the audio signal using the first method and, when the property information fulfills a second condition, the audio signal using the second method; and outputting the audio signal processed using one of the first and second methods through a speaker.

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a housing including a front plate, a rear plate oriented in a direction opposite to the front plate, and a side member for surrounding a space between the front plate and the rear plate; a display exposed to the outside through the front plate, wherein the side member includes at least one through hole; a middle plate disposed between the display and the rear plate and including a surface oriented toward the rear plate; and a speaker structure disposed in the space which is adjacent to the through hole and is disposed between the middle plate and the rear plate, wherein the speaker structure includes: a metal plate attached to the surface of the middle plate; a yoke disposed apart from the metal plate toward the rear plate; a heat conducting member (TIM) disposed between and in contact with the metal plate and the yoke; and a vibration plate disposed apart from the yoke toward the rear plate; and a magnet disposed between the yoke and the vibration plate. A method and an apparatus for customizing audio data processing are provided. The method includes receiving audio data through a wireless communication channel from an external device; decoding the received audio data; reducing noise of the decoded audio data; identifying hearing characteristics of a user by testing hearing abilities of the user at a plurality of frequency bands; adjusting a dynamic range of each of the plurality of frequency bands based on the hearing characteristics; processing the noise-reduced audio data based on the adjusted dynamic range of each of the plurality of frequency bands; and outputting the processed audio data.

An apparatus and method for cancelling a noise of an audio signal in an electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes a communication module configured to provide a voice call service with a counterpart electronic device, a memory configured to store one or more noise cancellation variables, and a processor configured to, when a call with the counterpart electronic device is configured through the communication module, select a noise cancellation variable corresponding to a reception signal strength from the memory and cancel an audio signal noise based on a noise cancellation variable corresponding to the reception signal.

An electronic device for processing an audio signal is provided. The electronic device includes a communication circuit, a microphone, a connector and a processor. The processor identifies whether the external cable connected with a first external electronic device and including a resistor having a resistance value equal to or greater than a designated resistance value is connected to the connector, and in response to identifying that the external cable is connected to the connector, transmit a first audio signal to the first external electronic device through the external cable, and receive a second audio signal including an echo signal and a voice signal through the microphone, and cancel the echo signal corresponding to the first audio signal, based at least partly on a delay time corresponding to the external cable and a parameter related with a filter corresponding to the external cable.
