    Abstract: A method of operating an electronic apparatus is provided. The method includes displaying, by an electronic apparatus including a display, a region including at least one of an image, text, and content on a part of a screen of the display, detecting, by the electronic apparatus, a touch or hovering of a user at a first location on or around the region, detecting, by the electronic apparatus, a movement of the touch or the hovering of the user, detecting a second location at which the movement is ended, dividing the screen of the display into two or more portions, and displaying a user interface of an application program related to at least one of the image, the text, and the content on a portion corresponding to the second location among the divided portions.

    Abstract: An electronic device displays a first screen is provided. The electronic device includes a list of one or more second applications in a display based on a first application, the second applications being different from the first application. The electronic device displays, in response to a first input of selecting one application of the one or more second applications based on the list, a second screen based on execution of the selected application in the display. The electronic device identifies information indicating at least one application switchable from the second screen within the first application, in response to a second input executing a third application based on the second screen. The electronic device identifies whether to switch from the second screen to a third screen based on execution of the third application to initiate the execution of the third application.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touch sensor, a fingerprint sensor, a display, and a processor. The display includes a display region having a fingerprint sensing region. The processor is configured to detect a touch input for the fingerprint sensing region by using the touch sensor, and to acquire touch information, corresponding to the touch input, on the display.     Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for processing a document in a touch-sensitive device by performing a document locking function in order not to expose a specific portion that contains significant content requiring security or confidentiality in a document, and by unlocking a locked portion of a document. In the method, when a document locking input is detected from a displayed document, the displayed document is folded in a direction of a first drag input. Thereafter, when the first drag input is removed, the displayed document is locked by completing the folding of the displayed document.
