An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a memory having a first memory area for storing an instruction that provides a normal operating mode and a second memory area for storing an instruction that provides a secure operating mode, and a processor configured to implement a secure mode management module that is configured to receive configuration information associated with the secure operating mode from at least one external electronic device and to store at least one function corresponding to the configuration information in the second memory area.
Abstract:
An electronic device and method for operation of same are provided. The electronic device includes a display, a memory, and a processor configured to execute a first operating system, a second operating system and an application run on the second operating system. The processor displays an execution screen of the application on the display, compares, in response to an event that occurs on the first operating system, a priority of an event with a priority of the application, and maintains the execution screen of the application running on the second operating system if the priority of the application is higher than the priority of the event.

A method for managing operating system executed by an electronic device is provided. The method includes obtaining, by a guest module of the guest operating system, information regarding a guest app executable on the guest operating system, providing, by the guest module, the information regarding the guest app to a host module of the host operating system, providing, by the host module, the information regarding the guest app to an app list creation module of the host operating system, combining, by the app list creation module, information regarding a host app executable on the host operating system and the information regarding the guest app, and outputting, by the app list creation module, an app execution list that includes the combined information.

An electronic device and method for data conversion processing are disclosed. The electronic device includes a communication interface configured to communicatively couple with an external server, and a control module. The control module may implement the method, which includes receiving a request to display content that is at least one of unoptimized or incompatible with data processing functionality of the electronic device, in response to the request, transmitting to the external server the content and at least one of a desired data type and a configuration setting of the electronic device, receiving from the external server a converted content optimized or compatible with the data processing functionality, converted by a renderer of the external server utilizing the at least one of the desired type and the configuration setting, and displaying the converted content on the display.
