摘要： A dispersion includes dispersed particles. The particles include a reaction product of a first polymer, a second polymer, and a chain terminator. The first and second polymers have at least two Si—H moieties and silicon bonded unsaturated moieties, respectively. The chain terminator has one Si—H moiety or one unsaturated hydrocarbon moiety. The first and second polymers and the chain terminator are reacted in the presence of a metal catalyst. The dispersion is formed by a method that includes the step of combining the first and second polymers, and the chain terminator. This method also reacts the first and second polymers and the chain terminator in the presence of the metal catalyst to form the dispersed particles.

摘要： The invention relates to oil-in-water emulsions, methods of making said emulsions and their uses in fabric care or hair care compositions. The fabric care composition comprises a silicone oil-in-water emulsion which emulsion is obtained by a. forming an oil phase by mixing at least one silicone compound with at least one silicone-free oil, b. optionally adding an emulsifier, c. adding water, d. forming an oil-in-water emulsion. A silicone oil, comprising a siloxane or polysiloxane compound, for example polydimethyl siloxane (polydimethyl silicone or PDMS), or a derivative thereof, e.g., amino and amido silicone, diluted with a silicone-free oil still can provide an emulsion providing high fabric care properties while decreasing the costs.

摘要： The invention relates to a method for the production of silicone in water emulsions by emulsion polymerization. The emulsion contains particles of an organopolysiloxane polymer having an average particle diameter of less than 1 μm. The method comprises: —combining a silanol end-blocked organosiloxane starting polymer, water, and a surfactant; said starting polymer having a viscosity of at least 2 Pa·s preferably at least 2.5 Pa·s preferably at least 3.5 Pa·s preferably at least 4 Pa·s and up to 150 Pa·s; —emulsifying the starting polymer by agitating or shearing the ingredients; —polymerizing the starting polymer to form a longer chain silanol end-blocked organopolysiloxane polymer; wherein at least a portion of said polymerizing step is performed at a temperature of less than or equal to 16° C. preferably less than or equal to 15° C.

摘要： A non-aqueous silicone emulsion is provided. It comprises a continuous phase of a polar organic liquid containing droplets of an organopolysiloxane dispersed therein. An organic wax, which has a melting point in the range 40 to 100° C. and is sparingly soluble in the polar organic liquid at 25° C., is dispersed in the polar organic liquid continuous phase as a network of interconnected particles which stabilizes the organopolysiloxane droplets in emulsion in the polar organic liquid. A process for the production of the emulsion is also disclosed.

摘要： A non-aqueous silicone emulsion is provided. It comprises a continuous phase of a polar organic liquid containing droplets of an organopolysiloxane dispersed therein. An organic wax, which has a melting point in the range 40 to 100° C. and is sparingly soluble in the polar organic liquid at 25° C., is dispersed in the polar organic liquid continuous phase as a network of interconnected particles which stabilises the organopolysiloxane droplets in emulsion in the polar organic liquid. A process for the production of the emulsion is also disclosed.
