摘要:
A method for making a composition for administration to a patient, where the method includes: harvesting tissue including cells from a patient, lysing the cells to form a lysate, filtering the lysate to yield a filtrate, and collecting the filtrate as a composition comprising the filtrate for administration to said patient.
摘要:
A catheter for insertion in a physiological lumen is provided which includes two balloons, wherein the distance between the balloons can be adjusted. The catheter can be used for the delivery of a therapeutic substance for the treatment of conditions such as restenosis.
摘要:
A method of coating a stent is presented such that less than 50% of the total amount of 40-O-(2-hydroxyl)ethyl-rapamycin, or an analog or derivative thereof, is released in vivo in a 24 hour period, wherein the method comprises exposing the coating to sufficient temperature to modify the structure of the polymer.
摘要:
Embodiments of the present invention include methods for the treatment, prevention, or amelioration of vascular disease in diabetic patients. The methods include both implantation of a stent including a first drug. Some embodiments include additional therapy, such as the co-administration of another drug. Some embodiments involve different stent selection for a diabetic patient compared to a non-diabetic patient.
摘要:
The present invention provides a coating comprising a reservoir layer comprising a semi-crystalline polymer and a primer layer comprising an amorphous polymer on an implantable device and methods of making and using the same.
摘要:
Various embodiments of methods for coating stents are described herein. Applying a composition including polymer component and solvent to a stent substrate followed by exposing the polymer component to a temperature equal to or greater than a Tg of the polymer component is disclosed. Repeating the applying and exposing one or more times to form a coating with the result that the solvent content of the coating after the final exposing step is at a level suitable for a finished stent is further disclosed.
