    Abstract: A circuit includes a compensation terminal, a current feedback terminal, a voltage feedback terminal, a reference voltage terminal, a modulator, an error amplifier, and average current balancing circuitry. A first input of the modulator is coupled to the current feedback terminal. A first input of the error amplifier is coupled to the voltage feedback terminal. A second input of the error amplifier is coupled to the reference voltage terminal. An output of the error amplifier is coupled to the compensation terminal. A first input of the average current balancing circuitry is coupled to the output of the error amplifier and the compensation terminal. A second input of the average current balancing circuitry is coupled to the current feedback terminal. An output of the average current balancing circuitry is coupled to a second input of the modulator.

    Abstract: A DC-DC converter circuit includes an error amplifier, a comparator, an oscillator, and a control circuit. The error amplifier is configured to generate an error signal. The control circuit is coupled to the error amplifier, the comparator, and the oscillator. The control circuit is configured to generate an oscillator control signal to control a frequency of the oscillator based on the error signal, and to generate a peak control signal provided to the comparator based on the error signal. The control circuit is also configured to switch, based on the error signal, between a first modulation mode and a second modulation mode during a transition mode, and in the transition mode, generate the oscillator control signal based on the peak control signal and the error signal.

    Abstract: A converter operable to convert an input voltage at an input node to an output voltage at an output node coupled to a load by switching on and off a transistor at a switching frequency, the converter comprising: an error amplifier circuit having a first input coupled to a reference voltage, a second input coupled to the output node through a resistive divider, a first output operable to output a control current and a second output operable to output a current equivalent to the control current; a peak current comparator circuit having a first input coupled to the second output of the error amplifier circuit, a second input and an output, the second input is coupled to the input node through an inductor; an off-time timer circuit having an input coupled to the first output of the error amplifier circuit and an output, the off-time timer circuit operable to set the switching frequency based on the control current; and a control circuit having a first input coupled to the output of the peak current comparator circuit, a second input coupled to the output of the off-time timer circuit and an output coupled to a control terminal of the transistor.

    Abstract: A DC-DC converter includes an output terminal, a reference voltage source, an error amplifier, and a compensation circuit. The error amplifier is coupled to the output terminal and the reference voltage source.
