Abstract: A vehicle wheel comprising a wheel rim with a rim base made from fiber composite material and a wheel disc. The wheel disc is connected to the wheel rim by a connecting element which is guided through a passage of the rim base and is received in the wheel disc. The wheel rim comprises a connecting arrangement with at least one connecting element and a seal element which covers in a complete and hollow manner a part of one or more adjacent connecting arrangements that extends across the rim outer side of the rim base. A circumferential edge of the seal element is glued in air-tight manner to the rim well. Alternatively, the wheel rim comprises a connecting arrangement with a connecting element and a flexible sealing layer made from plastic and completely covers, by coating, a part of the connecting arrangement which extends over the rim outer side of the rim base. An edge region of the flexible seal layer is connected in an air-tight manner to the rim base.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a vehicle wheel with a connection between a wheel rim and a wheel disc in which the wheel disc is connected to the wheel rim by means of at least one connecting element that is guided through a through-hole of the rim base and is joined in the wheel disc. After the joining of the connecting element in the wheel disc a portion of the head of the connecting element projects beyond the rim base on the outer side of the rim. Subsequently the head of the connecting element is at least partially removed.

Abstract: A vehicle wheel arrangement includes a wheel with a wheel hub and a carrier element for mounting the wheel on a vehicle part and/or for arrangement of a power-transmitting unit. In a joined state of the vehicle wheel arrangement a joining portion of the wheel hub corresponds with a joining portion of the carrier element. In the joined state of the vehicle wheel arrangement, the wheel hub and the carrier element are connected to one another in form-fitting fashion at least in a circumferential direction of a wheel hub axis. The wheel hub includes, in a region of the joining portion, one or more fiber plies with fibers arranged unidirectionally in the circumferential direction of the wheel hub axis. Furthermore, a method can be used to produce a vehicle wheel arrangement having a wheel hub made of fiber-reinforced composite and a carrier element.

Abstract: Disclosed is a vehicle wheel having a wheel rim and a wheel disc connected to an inner side of the wheel rim. The wheel disc is connected to the wheel rim by a connecting element which is guided through a through-hole of the rim base and inserted in the wheel disc. The through-hole is arranged in the tire seat of the rim base and the connecting element is joined substantially in the direction of the radial extension of the wheel disc which is associated to the tire seat on the inner side of the rim. In the method for producing the wheel the connection between wheel rim and wheel disc is produced in the region of the tire seat of the rim base, and, after the insertion of the connecting element into the wheel disc, a portion of the connecting element protruding the contour of the outer side of the rim of the tire seat is shaped so that the connecting element conforms to the contour of the outer side of the rim of the tire seat.

Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle wheel comprising a wheel rim, a wheel disc and at least one connecting element that connects the wheel disc and the wheel rim, wherein the connecting element is guided through a through-hole of the wheel rim and is joined in a joining channel of the wheel disc. According to the invention, an elongated sleeve (4, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3) is provided that surrounds the connecting element (3, 3.1, 3.2) coaxially, which sleeve is designed and arranged in such a way that at least part of said sleeve interlockingly extends into a corresponding recess (7) of the wheel rim (1.1, 1.2) and into a corresponding recess (8) of the wheel disc (2.1).
