摘要: When a simple magnification optical system is used in reproduction of a recording medium in which a large number of minute modified regions are three-dimensionally formed inside solid matter, contrast is insufficient and interlayer crosstalk is increased, and therefore, it is impossible to take a sufficient S/N ratio. Provided is a recording medium in which at least one layer is configured by a set of two adjacent sub-layers, and dots on a sub-layer correspond to a recording data ‘1’ and dots on the other sub-layer correspond to ‘0’. These data are played back.

摘要: A sheet processing apparatus includes: a second conveying roller pair that receives and conveys a sheet conveyed by a first conveying roller pair; a first folding roller pair that forms a first fold on the sheet; and a first rotation unit capable of rotating the second conveying roller pair and the first folding roller pair. One roller of the second conveying roller pair and one roller of the first folding roller pair are a common roller shared therebetween. The second conveying roller pair causes the sheet to be deflected and guided to the first folding roller pair, and the first folding roller pair forms the first fold on the deflected sheet by rotating the first rotation unit in a certain direction in a state in which the sheet is held by the first conveying roller pair and the second conveying roller pair.

摘要: In an information storage device in which small compartments each for storing information are arranged three-dimensionally inside a solid body, the solid body having at least one pair of parallel planar portions on its surface is used for a memory medium. The information to be stored is divided into bits and stored in discrete minute areas that distribute three-dimensionally inside the memory medium. Anisotropy is given to the pitch of the memory cell and the pitch in a direction right-angled to the planar portion is made larger than the pitch in the parallel direction. Moreover, the data such that given n-bits are used as a unit is converted into a digital format such that m-bits larger than n are used as a unit and the number of included ‘1s’ is smaller than n, which is recorded in the memory medium. When recording the data on the medium, pieces of the data expressed by the m-bits are arranged on the plate in the right-angle direction.

摘要: A sheet processing device includes a conveying unit, a presser, an end detector, and a setting unit. The conveying unit conveys a sheet having a crease formed therein. The presser presses the crease in the sheet. The end detector detects an end in a conveying direction of the sheet at a position upstream of the presser in the conveying direction. The setting unit sets a crease position where the crease is to be formed. Upon detection of the end in the conveying direction, the conveying unit conveys the sheet to a position where the crease faces the presser, on the basis of the crease position set by the setting unit. The presser presses the crease in the conveyed sheet.
