摘要: A network communication device measures an elapsed time from the transmission of facsimile data prepared by an e-mail message composing section to the reception of a delivery verification response by a clock section. In accordance with the measurement, a time managing section changes a waiting time by which an occurrence of a timeout error is determined to, for example, a mean value or a maximum value. This sets the waiting time to an optimal value suitable to a network environment, for example.

摘要: A network communication device is provided with e-mail message composing means and e-mail message transmitting/receiving means. The e-mail message composing means has functions of incorporating an MDN request and return transmission conditions into an e-mail message and of consolidating MDN responses for multiple received e-mail messages into a collective MDN response to compose a single e-mail message. The e-mail message transmitting/receiving means has a function of recognizing the MDN request and the return transmission conditions. The network communication device is further provided with: reception result monitoring means which monitors the reception of an e-mail message to see whether it is a success or failure and which composes an MDN response; and disposition notification controlling means which monitors return transmission conditions incorporated in a received e-mail message and which, if the return transmission conditions are met, instructs the e-mail message composing means to compose a collective MDN response and the e-mail message transmitting/receiving means to transmit the composed collective MDN response. Thus, the invention enables collective confirmation of MDN responses to multiple e-mail messages.

摘要: A pre-expanded polypropylene resin particle can be produced in the following manner: a polypropylene resin particle produced by an under water cut method, water, a dispersing agent, and a foaming agent are charged in a pressure-resistant container, the resulting mixture is heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the softening temperature of the polypropylene resin particle to allow the polypropylene resin particle to be impregnated with the foaming agent under pressure, and the resulting product is released into the atmosphere having a pressure lower than the pressure of the inside of the pressure-resistant container. As the polypropylene resin composition, a composition is used which comprises 100 parts by weight of a polypropylene resin and 1 to 20 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin having a melt viscosity of 10 to 2000 mPa·s at 140° C., whereby it becomes possible to reduce the pressure of a heated molding vapor required for producing an in-mold expanded molding product having a fusion rate of 75% or higher.

摘要: The memory apparatus includes a memory device including a gate insulating layer formed on a silicon substrate by sequentially stacking a tunnel oxide layer, a charge trap layer, and a block oxide layer in this order, on the silicon substrate. In addition, a gate electrode is formed on the gate insulating layer. The block oxide layer is formed by stacking a first block oxide layer and a second block oxide layer, wherein the first block oxide layer is adjacent to the charge trap layer and the second block oxide layer is adjacent to the gate electrode. The second block oxide layer is formed of a dielectric material having higher permittivity than that of the first block oxide layer and having higher electron affinity than that of the first block oxide layer.

摘要: A conventional facsimile machine re-dials by using another telephone line after an elapse of a predetermined period of time since when a communication error after a line connection has occurred, so that it takes a predetermined period of time to re-dial by using the other telephone line, and hence a receiving end may receive data transmitted from another facsimile machine during this period. In order to prevent that, a facsimile machine of the present invention comprises: a plurality of line connecting means, each of which has a telephone line for transmitting/receiving data; a line selecting section for selecting a telephone line to be used when a plurality of telephone lines are connected; and an auto-dial sending section for changing over the telephone line currently selected by the line selecting section to another telephone line so as to make a call immediately, when the receiving end is busy.
