Abstract: The invention relates to a rotor (1) of an electromagnetic motor or generator having a body comprising an inner hub (2) which is concentric to a central axis (7) of rotation of the rotor (1), branches (3) extending radially with respect to the central axis (7) of rotation from the inner hub (2) towards a hoop (8) forming a circular outer periphery of the rotor (1), at least one magnet (10) being housed in each space delimited between two adjacent branches (3), each having a width which decreases with distance from the inner hub (2) and terminates by a tapered tip (3b) against the hoop (8). Each magnet is in the form of a magnet structure (10) consisting of a plurality of individual magnets (4) which are secured together by a fiber-reinforced insulating material, each individual magnet (4) being elongated in shape by extending in the axial direction of the rotor (1).

Abstract: A permanent-magnet synchronous motor or generator with at least one rotor (2) and at least one stator (3, 8). The motor includes two rotors (2), four stators (3, 8) and a cooling system (7, 7a). The cooling system includes three cooling circuits (7, 7a), i.e. two outer circuits (7) which are each accommodated in a longitudinal outer wall of a casing (8), adjacent to an outermost stator (3, 8), for cooling said outermost stator (3, 8), and an intermediate circuit (7a) located between the two innermost stators (3, 8) in the motor for simultaneously cooling said two stators (3, 8), the central shaft (5) being common to the two rotors (2) which are connected to the central shaft (5) by mechanical means.

Abstract: A rotor (1) of an axial-flux electromagnetic machine having a body comprising an internal hub (2) concentric to the axis of rotation (7). Branches (3) extend radially in relation to the axis of rotation (7) from the internal hub (2) toward a binding band (8) which forms an external circular rim of the rotor (1). In each space defined between two adjacent branches (3) there is a magnet structure (10) comprising a plurality of magnets (4). The body is constituted by a plurality of stacked layers of composite containing fibers bonded by a resin. The fibers of each layer are oriented in a different predetermined direction (F1, F2) for two adjacent and stacked layers. In addition, a covering skin is located on each of two opposite faces of the rotor body, made up of a plurality of stacked layers of composite containing fibers bonded by a resin.

Abstract: A magnet structure comprising a plurality of individual magnets in the form of an elongate block (4) having a length (4a) extending beyond the thickness of the magnet structure. The elongate block (4) is cylindrical or polyhedral in shape with at least one flat longitudinal face (4b) orientated towards a working surface of the magnet structure, the elongate block (4) having a line of magnetisation extending along its length. The individual magnets (4) being positioned at a distance from each other in the magnet structure in order to be electrically isolated from each other, the length (4a) of each block (4) being greater than the diameter of the flat longitudinal face (4b) for a cylindrical block (4) or with a larger diagonal (4c) connecting two apexes of said longitudinal face (4b) for a block (4) in the form of a polyhedron.
