Methods and devices for encoding/decoding a video bitstream are provided. The decoding method includes: a slice bitstream is received, wherein the slice bitstream carries parameter set indication information for indicating a camera parameter set; the camera parameters are acquired from the camera parameter set indicated by the parameter set indication information; and the slice bitstream is decoded according to the acquired camera parameters. By the present invention, the technical problem of lower encoding/decoding efficiency caused by the fact that encoding/decoding can only be normally implemented by carrying the camera parameters in the slice bitstream in the conventional art is solved, and the technical effect of improving the encoding/decoding efficiency is achieved.

The method includes: obtaining supplemental auxiliary information for constructing a stereo-pair from a three-dimensional video sequence bitstream, the supplemental auxiliary information being used for indicating that the stereo-pair is constructed from a reconstructed three-dimensional video sequence, and the reconstructed three-dimensional video sequence being obtained by decoding the three-dimensional video sequence bitstream. The present invention solves the technical problem in the prior art that degraded displaying quality of a constructed stereo-pair appears because of the lack of supplemental auxiliary information in a three-dimensional video sequence bitstream, and achieves the technical effect of improving the display quality of a constructed stereoscopic video.

A coding method applied to HEVC-based 3DVC is provided in the example of the present document, which includes: in the HEVC-based 3DVC, before a parent prediction unit (PU) corresponding to a coding unit (CU) of a depth image is predicted, judging whether the parent PU meets a preset condition, if the parent PU meets the preset condition, evaluating only traditional intra modes of high efficiency video coding (HEVC) when the parent PU is coded, and if the parent PU does not meet the preset condition, evaluating the traditional intra modes of the HEVC and depth modeling modes (DMM) predictions when the parent PU is coded. A coding device applied to HEVC-based 3DVC is also provided in the example of the present document. In the example of the present document, by reducing the evaluated prediction modes, a coding speed is increased.

Disclosed are a method and device for generating a predicted picture, the method comprising: determining a reference rectangular block of pixels according to parameter information which includes a location of a target rectangular block of pixels and/or depth information of a reference view; mapping the reference rectangular block of pixels to a target view according to the depth information of the reference view to obtain a projection rectangular block of pixels; and acquiring a predicted picture block from the projection rectangular block of pixels. The technical problem of relatively large dependence among the data brought by simultaneously employing the depth picture of the target view and the depth picture of the reference view in the process of generating the predicted picture in the prior art is solved, and the technical effects of reducing the dependence on the data and improving the encoding and decoding efficiency is achieved.
