摘要: The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an artificial stone slab with veins comprises preparing a moldable hardenable fluid mixture of a first material (11); pouring said mixture into a mold (20) an upper face being exposed; engraving the exposed upper face with a predefined precise pattern of grooves (30) coinciding with a pattern of thin veins to be obtained; impregnating at least the inner faces (31) of said grooves (30) with a moldable hardenable fluid mixture of a second material (12), the color of both materials being different; causing the collapse and closure of the grooves, a visible pattern of thin veins of a second material with a natural look being left behind; curing the artificial stone slab by subjecting it to vibration, compression and vacuum until the fluid mixtures of the first material and of the second material are hardened.

摘要: An in-laid athletic floor and a method of installing an in-laid athletic floor are presented herein. Particularly, the athletic floor is constructed of a plurality of sections comprising an at least partially resilient rubber material and is generally used for athletic activities, including, for example, a number of track and field events, such as running, relay events, hurdles, long jump, triple jump, etc. Specifically, the floor includes a plurality of main floor sections with cut-out gaps or openings there between, and insert floor sections disposed or otherwise in-laid within the gaps or openings. The insert floor sections are positioned within the floor in order to represent or denote various game markings, such as track lane partitions, lane numbering, start and finish lines, relay lines, etc.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a laser-cut, inlayed panel uses a computerized laser-cutting technique that includes the steps of: providing an art master rendering that is desired to constitute a decorative design for the inlaid panel; scanning electronically the art master to form an art master data file; transferring the art master data file to a CAD software system to form an art master CAD file having machine code coordinates; coordinating a laser beam to cut-through a first background panel and create negative image voids on the inlaid panel; driving a CNC laser cutting machine in response to the machine code coordinates; second coordinating a laser beam to cut through a second panel for forming positive images that become inlay elements; bonding the first background panel and the second panel for forming a composite panel; placing the inlay element in appropriate voided spaces on the background panel and bonded to the substrate; finishing the composite panel; finishing the inlay elements. The finished composite panel with affixed inlay elements is incorporated into an overall furniture or decorative object. The process may be applied to articles where the surface is curved or arcuate.
