Abstract: Various decorative articles and methods of manufacturing the same are described. In particular, decorative articles having a support layer and an adhesive. The support layer is positioned between a decorative element and a substrate having a surface disruption. When the support layer is adhered to the substrate by an adhesive, the combination of the support layer and adhesive blocks any imaging of the surface disruption within the decorative element.
