Abstract: A watch assembly method includes: processing a first bonding surface on a first connecting member, bonding a first laser adhesive layer on the first bonding surface and activating the first laser adhesive layer; processing a second bonding surface on a second connecting member, bonding a second laser adhesive layer on the second bonding surface and activating the second laser adhesive layer; fixing the second connecting member with the first connecting member preliminarily in such a manner that the first laser adhesive layer and the second laser adhesive layer face each other, and pressing the first connecting member and the second connecting member against each other until the first laser adhesive layer and the second laser adhesive layer are completely bonded and infiltrated.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a case assembly for a ceramic timepiece. The case assembly is configured to accommodate a movement which includes a first groove, defining an inner periphery of a first side of the casing. The first groove accommodates a glass of the timepiece, within a thickness of the casing. Further one or more provisions are provided in a second side of the casing, where each of the one or more provisions is configured to receive an adapter. Each of the adapter receives a fastening member, for securing a back plate of the timepiece within the height of the casing. A dial including a pair of projections extending outwardly from two opposing portions of an outer periphery of the casing is provided to receive a strap of the timepiece. The configuration of the dial helps in reducing the thickness of the timepiece.

Abstract: Preform and manufacturing process producing heterogeneous components with a first fraction (11) made from a first metallic material and having a cellular structure with stochastic or regular cells, and a second fraction (12) made from a second metallic material different from the first metallic material, in which the second fraction (12) at least partly infiltrates the cells of the first fraction (11). The second fraction is poured into the preform which also acts as a mould. The finished product after machining may have a unified surface of the second fraction or several zones exposing the second fraction, the first fraction, the cellular structure which is open or infiltrated with the second metallic fraction, or open zones, in a predetermined design.
