Each loop is defined by the following: the interstitial space between the first wall and a yoke locally covering an outer surface of the first wall, the interstitial space having an anterior opening and a posterior opening through which a portion of the lace extends, and an upper linkage between the first wall and the yoke, the upper linkage being achieved due to a first affixer located in a first connection zone close to the sagittal plane, whereby the yoke is superimposed on the first wall without folding.

    摘要： A lacing system is provided including a length of string, each string divided into a center region and a plurality of equal length regions. Each equal length region is designated by a color, pattern or indicia. The center region has a length equal to a distance between a bottom-most pair of left-side and right-side eyelets, the equal length regions each have a length equal to a diagonal distance between a left-side eyelet and a right-side eyelet. End lengths of each lace measure half the remainder of each lace remaining from the total length of the lace minus the summation of the center region plus the equal length regions. Each equal length region has a different color, pattern or indicia from its adjacent equal length region. Each of the end lengths has a different color, pattern or indicia from the equal length regions that is immediately adjacent to the end length.

    摘要： A closure system for a shoe includes a single shoelace which can be secured and tightened through the use of one hand. The shoe includes a button around which the shoelace is wrapped to facilitate easy removal of the shoe. In one embodiment one end of the shoelace is secured under the upper of the shoe near the toe and a second end of the shoelace is secured in a slider that is slidably mounted on the rear of the shoe to provide micro-adjustments of the tightness of the shoe. Alternatively, the shoe includes a strip of piping around the rear of the shoe and a slider in which the second end of the shoelace is secured slides along the piping when the user wants to make micro-adjustments.

The article of footwear includes an upper and a sole structure, where the sole structure includes a top surface, a bottom surface, a lateral side and a medial side. The article of footwear further includes an eyelet system coupled to the top surface of the sole structure. The eyelet system includes a base structure and a plurality of looped strand portions coupled to the base structure. The base structure is coupled to the top surface of the sole structure such that the plurality of looped strand portions extend outwardly from the sole structure, enabling the looped strand portions to receive a fastening element.
