    Abstract: Systems and methods for determining a location of an object within a sonar beam zone are detailed herein. A system for presenting marine data includes at least one sonar transducer associated with a watercraft, a display, processor(s), and a memory including a computer program code. The sonar transducer emits sonar beams into an underwater environment defining a beam shape. The program code, when executed, causes, on the display, presentation of a chart and a representation of the watercraft; and determines, based on the beam shape corresponding to the sonar transducer, a sonar beam zone corresponding to a sonar coverage of the underwater environment of the body of water. The program code further receives sonar return data and determines a position of an object within the sonar beam zone, and causes, on the display, presentation of the sonar beam zone and an indication of the object within the sonar beam zone.

    Abstract: A mounting system for a front view sonar transducer. The mounting system has a mounting assembly a mounting bracket affixed to a boat and to a mounting clamp. The mounting clamp has a clamping portion configured to clamp around an outside perimeter of a support tube. The mounting system further includes a waterproof motor housing positioned above the mounting bracket, the motor housing secured to a flange on the support tube. A tubular shaft extends through the waterproof motor housing and support tube, the tubular shaft having an upper portion extending upwardly from the waterproof motor housing and a lower portion configured to receive a front view sonar transducer. The tubular shaft directionally controlled by a motor in the motor housing. A trolling motor shaft extending through the tubular shaft with a motor for directionally controlling the trolling motor in the motor housing. The mounting system further includes one or more foot pedal assemblies configured to operate one or both of the electric motors within the waterproof motor housing.

    Abstract: A sonar system mounted to a platform is disclosed. The sonar system includes a positioning shaft rotatably connected to the platform; a motor operably connected to the positioning shaft, wherein operation of the motor causes the positioning shaft to rotate; a transducer connected to a distal end of the positioning shaft such that rotation of the positioning shaft causes the transducer to rotate, the transducer defining an axis aligned with a sonar field projected by the transducer; and a position indicator connected to and extending from the positioning shaft to a position viewable by a user, the position indicator being aligned with the axis of the transducer to provide a visual indication to the user of a direction of the sonar field projected by the transducer.

    Abstract: The flasher-type multi-frequency fish finder includes a wideband ultrasonic transducer, a display-rotating disk, a motor and a control device. The plurality of display LEDs are composed of the first, second and third display LEDs. The control device has a signal-separating and obtaining part and a light-emission signal-producing part. The signal-separating and obtaining part separates the reflected signal and obtains the first reflected signal corresponding to the high frequency, the second reflected signal corresponding to the medium frequency, and the third reflected signal corresponding to the low frequency. The light-emission signal-producing part generates first, second and third light-emission signals based on the first, second and third reflection signals, respectively. The first, second and third annular-display regions are concentrically set on the display surface. Underwater detection results by high frequency, medium frequency and low frequency ultrasonic waves are simultaneously indicated by a flashing light in the first, second and third annular-display regions.
