摘要: A system and method for determining a part having an anomaly in equipment and initiating electronic transaction for placing order to replace the part using three-dimensional (3D) model of equipment. The system inspects equipment to identify type of equipment and requests a data storage device storing 3D models of equipment to provide matching 3D models corresponding to equipment identified. The system utilizes various technologies to determine relative location of anomaly indicative of failing/failed part in equipment. The system overlays 3D image map from the 3D model to identify specific part/assembly/subassembly within the 3D model corresponding to the relative location of the anomaly. The system identifies additional parts associated with the failing/failed part as a kit in the 3D image map, and adds the kit to virtual shopping cart for initiating electronic transaction in reference to the kit depicted in the 3D model of equipment for replacement of the failing/failed part.

摘要: A receiver for receiving data in a broadcast system includes a broadcast receiver that receives, via the broadcast system, a receiver input data stream including plural channel symbols represented by constellation points in a constellation diagram. A demodulator demodulates the channel symbols into codewords and a decoder decodes the codewords into output data words. A broadband receiver obtains redundancy data via a broadband system, the redundancy data for a channel symbol including one or more least robust bits of the channel symbol or a constellation subset identifier indicating a subset of constellation points including the constellation point representing the channel symbol. The demodulator and/or the decoder is configured to use the redundancy data to demodulate the respective channel symbol and to decode the respective codeword, respectively.

摘要: A method of operating a mobile receiving system includes the steps of registering and storing, in a first cycle, a plurality of receivable transmitters in a first specifiable frequency range with a first receiving method, and establishing a number of the receivable transmitters from the first cycle. The method further includes the steps of registering and storing, in a second cycle, a plurality of receivable transmitters in the first specifiable frequency range with the first receiving method, and establishing a number of the receivable transmitters from the second cycle. The number of receivable transmitters from the first cycle are compared with the number of receivable transmitters from the second cycle and, when the numbers of receivable transmitters in the first cycle and the second cycle deviate from one another by a first specifiable value, the first receiving method is switched to a second receiving method.

摘要: An apparatus and method are provided. The apparatus comprises a plurality of inputs, a plurality of receive buffers, a processor and an output. The plurality of inputs are configured to receive a plurality of data streams. Each data stream comprising a respective plurality of data blocks carrying common content. The plurality of receive buffers are each configured to store the data blocks of a respective on of the plurality of data streams including storing quality information associated with each data block. The processor is configured to select stored data blocks from the respective buffers to form an output data stream carrying the common content. The processor is further configured to carry out signal processing on the selected data blocks in dependence on the associated quality information. The output is configured to output the selected and error concealed data blocks. The quality information associated with each data block corresponds to a quality experienced by a receive path at the time of reception of each data block.

The broadcast signal receiver according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a synchronization and demodulation module configured to perform detection and OFDM demodulation on a received broadcast signal, a frame parsing and deinterleaving module configured to parse and deinterleave the signal frame of the broadcast signal, a demapping and decoding module configured to convert the data of at least one Physical Layer Pipe (PLP) of the broadcast signal into a bit domain and to FEC-decode the PLP data, and an output processing module configured to receive the data of the at least one PLP and to output the received data in a data stream form.

摘要: A distribution system for transmitting media content programs to premises equipment via a satellite transmission path addresses signal degradation caused by atmospheric conditions and other factors. Upon detection of a degradation of the satellite signal, the system may begin transmitting the content using an alternative signal path, such as a terrestrial IP network. The satellite transmission path is brought back on line after the satellite link is restored. Alternatively, the system may begin recording the signal in the media distribution system for transmission via the satellite link after the link is restored.

摘要: A digital wireless audio transmission system having a wireless receiving unit for wirelessly receiving a high-frequency signal. An HF analysis unit analyzes the received high-frequency data, detects errors in the transmission within a time window, and outputs the received data and first items of information in respect of the detected errors. A decoding unit converts/decodes the received high-frequency data into audio data. An error detection unit checks errors in the conversion of the decoding unit within a previously established time window and outputs second items of information in respect of errors during decoding of the received high-frequency data. An error rate is determined based on the first and second items of information. If the error rate exceeds a first threshold value then no audio signal is outputted. Only if the error rate falls below a second value, lower than the first value, is an audio output is then again effected.
