摘要: For use by an implantable system including a first and second leadless pacemakers (LPs) implanted, respectively, in first and second cardiac chambers, a method comprises storing, within memory of the first LP, a paced activation morphology template corresponding to far-field signal components expected to be present in an EGM sensed by the first LP when a pacing pulse delivered to the second cardiac chamber by the second LP captures the second cardiac chamber. The method also includes the first LP comparing a morphology of a portion of an EGM sensed by the first LP to the paced activation morphology template to determine whether a match therebetween is detected, and determining whether capture of the second cardiac chamber occurred or failed to occur, based on whether the first LP detects a match between the morphology of the portion of the EGM and the paced activation morphology template.

摘要: Techniques are described for discriminating SVT and, in particular, rapidly conducting AF. The techniques include detecting an onset of a fast rate of ventricular events sensed from a cardiac electrical signal and detecting a pause in the fast rate of ventricular sensed events. A threshold number of ventricular event intervals required to detect a ventricular tachyarrhythmia is detected with each of the threshold number of ventricular event intervals being less than a tachyarrhythmia detection interval. Detection of the ventricular tachyarrhythmia and an electrical stimulation therapy for treating the ventricular tachyarrhythmia are withheld in response to at least the pause being detected.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to implantable neuromodulation devices, and in particular to a wireless power coil in a low profile environment such as with a neurostimulator. Particularly, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a medical device that comprises a lossy housing surrounding a power supply, and a receiving coil configured to exchange power wirelessly via a wireless power transfer signal and deliver the power to the power supply. The receiving coil is adjacent the lossy housing. The receiving coil is a helical structure with a total rise that is less than or equal to a height of the lossy housing.

摘要: A medical device system, such as an extra-cardiovascular implantable cardioverter defibrillator ICD, senses R-waves from a first cardiac electrical signal by a first sensing channel and stores a time segment of a second cardiac electrical signal in response to each sensed R-wave. The medical device system determines a morphology parameter correlated to signal noise from time segments of the second cardiac electrical signal, detects a noisy signal segment based on the signal morphology parameter; and withholds detection of a tachyarrhythmia episode in response to detecting a threshold number of noisy signal segments.

摘要: An implantable medical device system receives a cardiac electrical signal produced by a patient's heart and comprising atrial P-waves and delivers a His bundle pacing pulse to the patient's heart via a His pacing electrode vector. The system determines a timing of a sensed atrial P-wave relative to the His bundle pacing pulse and determines a type of capture of the His bundle pacing pulse in response to the determined timing of the atrial P-wave.

摘要: An architecture is disclosed for an Implantable Pulse Generator having improved compliance voltage monitoring and adjustment software and hardware. Software specifies which stimulation pulses are to be measured as relevant to monitoring and adjusting the compliance voltage. Preferably, specifying such pulses occurs by setting a compliance monitoring instruction (e.g., a bit) in the program that defines the pulse, and the compliance monitor bit instruction may be set at a memory location defining a particular pulse phase during which the compliance voltage should be monitored. When a compliance monitor instruction issues, the active electrode node voltages are monitored and compared to desired ranges to determine whether they are high or low. Compliance logic operates on these high/low signals and processes them to decide whether to issue a compliance voltage interrupt to the microcontroller, which can then command the compliance voltage generator to increase or decrease the compliance voltage.

摘要: A medical device includes a motion sensor for producing a motion signal including cardiac event signals. The medical device generates a ventricular pacing pulse upon expiration of a pacing interval. The medical device determines a synchrony metric from the motion signal after a delivered ventricular pacing pulse and adjusts the pacing interval based on the synchrony metric.

摘要: An extra-cardiovascular medical device is configured to select a capacitor configuration from a capacitor array and deliver a low voltage, pacing pulse by discharging the selected capacitor configuration across an extra-cardiovascular pacing electrode vector. In some examples, the medical device is configured to determine the capacitor configuration based on a measured impedance of the extra-cardiovascular pacing electrode vector.

摘要: The invention is directed to a communication system for a wireless message transfer between an implantable medical device (IMD) and an external device, comprising an IMD and an external device, wherein the IMD is configured to monitor the health status of a patient and/or configured to deliver a therapy signal to the patient, wherein the IMD comprises a processor, a memory module and a transceiver module configured to bi-directionally exchange the messages with the external device. In order to provide a communication system and method that enables a low-overhead means for supporting communication with a plurality of IMDs and facilitating targeted IMD-specific interactions as part of IMD assembly and in-clinic use, the external device is configured to send a predefined wake-up signal to the transceiver module of the IMD combined with an ID request message following the wake-up signal within a predefined first time interval.
