    Abstract: An optical transceiver for connection between an optical socket and an electrical socket is disclosed. The optical transceiver includes an electrical connector and an optical connector. The optical transceiver has an electronics housing holding the electrical and optical connectors in relative position to each other allowing the simultaneous connection to an electrical socket and an optical socket. The electrical and optical connectors may be moved between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the electronics housing when being engaged or disengaged with respective electrical and optical sockets.

    Abstract: A system and method for providing status information during a power-on self-test routine. The system includes a basic input output system operable to execute the power-on self-test routine and output the status of the power-on self-test routine. The system includes an externally visible indicator such as a server chassis identify LED. A controller is coupled to the basic input output system and the externally visible indicator. The controller is operable to receive the status from the basic input output system, and to control the externally visible indicator in response to the status received from the basic input output system.

    Abstract: A cooling system for a rack of servers includes a plurality of cooling circuits, where each cooling circuit is coupled to a server of the rack. Each cooling circuit includes a plurality of cooling modules arranged in parallel. Each cooling module includes a cold plate having a cooling conduit passing therethrough, and a pump fluidly coupled to the cooling conduit. The cooling circuit further includes one or more valves fluidly interconnecting the plurality of cooling modules. Each of the one or more valves, when turned on, fluidly connects the cooling conduits of any two adjacent cooling modules. The cooling system further includes a first cooling distribution manifold fluidly connected to the cooling circuit of each of the plurality of servers through an inlet pipe, and a second cooling distribution manifold fluidly connected to the cooling circuit of each of the plurality of servers through an outlet pipe.

    Abstract: A positioning system includes a storage device, a lidar and a controller. The storage device stores a global map. The lidar generates an initial local map. The controller rotates the initial local map to generate a rotated local map, compares the rotated local map and the initial local map separately with a plurality of partial areas of the global map, so as to obtain at least one similar area, calculates at least one candidate coordinates for a mobile device on the global map according to the center point of each of the similar areas, and calculates similarity scores according to each of the candidate coordinates, and selects the candidate coordinates having highest similarity score for use as coordinate of the mobile device on the global map.

    Abstract: An image capturing device is provided. The image capturing device includes a device housing, a lens module, a restriction unit, and a latch. The device housing has an insertion slot. The lens module pivots on the device housing. Relative to the device housing, the lens module is adapted to be rotated between a first module orientation and a second module orientation. The restriction unit is disposed in the device housing. The latch passes through the insertion slot of the device housing, wherein the latch is adapted to be moved between a first latch position and a second latch position. When the latch is in the first latch position, the latch sufficiently pushes the restriction unit. When the latch is in the second latch position, the pressure from the latch applied to the restriction unit is decreased.

    Abstract: A fan assembly includes a socket to receive a fan module, a fan flap coupled to a first side wall of the socket, and an anti-reflow device coupled to a second side wall of the socket. The fan flap moves in a curved path between a first position and a second position. The anti-reflow device has an attachment feature, an embossed feature, and a stopping feature. The attachment feature attaches the anti-reflow device to the second side wall. The embossed feature extends through a first aperture in the second side wall. The stopping feature extends through a second aperture in the second side wall and contacts the fan flap. When the fan module is removed, the stopping feature retains the fan flap in the first position to block the socket and prevent air from reflowing through the socket.
