A video display system includes a laser beam that is reflected from a vertical scan rotating mirror, then from a horizontal scan rotating mirror and then toward a viewing surface. The rotational angles of the mirrors and the intensity of the laser are controlled by a controller that is driven by a video signal. Rotation of the horizontal mirror scans the laser beam across the viewing surface while the laser intensity is modulated to form pixels on the viewing surface. The vertical scan mirror then directs the beam to the next horizontal scan line. The resolution and aspect ratio of the image are adjusted by changing the rotation rate of the mirrors and by changing the rate at which the laser is modulated.

Disclosed is a video recording system which permits one to participate in a recording of an event utilizing predetermined views in a manner which ensures security of the participant's video recording equipment. The system includes several cameras arranged in a recording area to provide images from several views. The images are provided to the user's own equipment which is secured within locked compartments. According to another aspect, there is disclosed a video recording system which permits "real time" editing of recorded events so as to customize a recording made using the several cameras. According to still another aspect of the invention, the user interfaces with a central viewstation, selecting desired views, either prerecorded or live broadcasts, to be recorded on either the user's own equipment or equipment provided to the user at the event site.

A real-time temporal convolution network (RT-TCN) algorithm reuses the output of prior convolution operations in all layers of the network to minimize the computational requirements and memory footprint of a TCN during real-time evaluation. Further, a TCN trained via the fixed-window view, where the TCN is trained using fixed time splices of the input time series, can be executed in real-time continually using RT-TCN.
