摘要: A system, comprising: a computing device configured to obtain video signals of a worker performing a hand-related job at a workplace; and a computing server system configured to receive and process the video signals to identify hand grips and wrist bending involved in the job, determine a hand grip type for each identified hand grip, obtain force information relating to each identified hand grip, determine neutral or hazardous wrist bending based at least upon the wrist bending and the hand grip force information, calculate a percent maximum strength for each identified hand grip, calculate frequencies and durations of each identified hand grip and wrist bending, and determine ergonomic risks of the hand-related job accordingly.

摘要: A method is described herein that produces UN from UF6 in at most two steps comprising UF6→intermediate→UN. The principle of the reaction is that in a first step, UF6 would be reduced to UxNy, where x may be an integer selected from 1 and 3, and y is an integer selected from 1 and 2. Reduction occurs at or near the surface of a gaseous membrane electrode where it is also in contact with a nitrogen bearing salt. In a second step, UxNy decomposes to UN and N2 gas, either in the same reactor as the first step or after removal to a separate unit for further processing.

The receiving vehicle may be controlled to move to an intermediate location that includes an increased traffic area or to a first donating vehicle location of plural different donating vehicle locations. The first donating vehicle location includes a predicted upcoming location of a first donating vehicle. The receiving vehicle receives energy from the first donating vehicle to charge the energy storage assembly of the receiving vehicle while both the first donating vehicle and the receiving vehicle area moving at the intermediate location.

摘要: A new and innovative medical sizing instrument and method are provided for determining an appropriate depth and/or length of a clavicle hook plate for a patient. The provided medical sizing instrument may enable a surgeon to determine an appropriate hook depth without having to switch between different components, such as a series of templates. In an example, a surgeon may insert the medical sizing instrument into a patient the same as the surgeon would a clavicle hook plate, adjust the hook depth on the medical sizing instrument until a hook depth is obtained that appropriately maintains the anatomical alignment of the patient's clavicle and acromion, and read an indicated depth on the medical sizing instrument. The surgeon may then remove the medical sizing instrument from the patient and select the appropriate clavicle hook plate to insert into the patient.
