摘要: A sprayer includes a spray gun and a hopper. An air source provides compressed air to the sprayer to both eject fluid from the spray gun as a spray and to pressurize the hopper. The spray gun includes passages for providing compressed air to the nozzle for spraying and to the hopper for pressurizing the hopper. The spray gun further includes a relief valve for venting pressurized air from the hopper. The hopper receives the compressed air through a port in the hopper, and the compressed air assists the flow of material out of the hopper and into the spray gun.

摘要: A submersible fluid pump suitable for use in a landfill well includes an outer case extending along a vertical axis and at least partially defining an interior of the fluid pump, a fluid inlet and outlet, a discharge tube within the outer case and disposed between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, a float positioned around the discharge tube and within the outer case such that the float is within the discharge tube and the outer case, the float being movable along the discharge tube in an axial direction, a pneumatic valve configured to introduce pressurized air into the interior of the fluid pump, an actuator configured to open and close the pneumatic valve, and a plurality of magnets comprising a first magnet fixed with respect to the actuator and a second magnet fixed with respect to the float, the second magnet configured to magnetically repel the first magnet as the float moves to tip the actuator to either open or close the pneumatic valve.

摘要: A method of inspecting an air data probe for damage or misalignment on a mounting surface includes retrieving reference data for the air data probe from a database, capturing images of the air data probe via a camera and generating dimensions from the captured images of the air data probe via a feature extractor. An alignment calculator analyzes the generated dimensions from the captured images of the air data probe and the reference data for the air data probe from the database to identify misalignment of the air data probe, and analyzes the generated dimensions from the captured images of the air data probe and the reference data for the air data probe from the database to identify damage of the air data probe. A maintenance recommendation for the air data probe is generated and outputted, based on the identified misalignment or damage of the air data probe.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a cold plate includes forming a fluid circuit on a build surface in a layer-by-layer fashion from a build material. A central wall of the fluid circuit at least partially defines the primary channel and a plurality of secondary channels fluidly connected to the primary channel. The method further includes removing excess build material through the apertures.

摘要: A method of fabricating a capacitive micromechanical electrical system (MEMS) pressure sensor includes the steps of forming a backing wafer, forming a diaphragm wafer that includes a diaphragm configured to deflect from an applied force and a pressure cavity configured to produce on the diaphragm the applied force which is indicative of a system pressure; fusing the diaphragm wafer to the backing wafer thereby forming a base wafer, forming a top wafer, joining the top wafer to the base wafer, thereby forming a detector wafer. The diaphragm defines a first capacitor surface and the top wafer defines a second capacitor surface. A void separates the second capacitor surface from the first capacitor surface by a separation distance which is a capacitor gap. A capacitive MEMS pressure sensor is also disclosed.
