The method comprises: a user equipment (UE) determines a current data sending stage, and uses a CG SDT resource in a CG SDT process according to the current data sending stage. Accordingly, a UE can use, according to a current data sending stage, a suitable CG SDT resource to perform data transmission, such that the data transmission rate of the UE can be improved, and thus the UE can send more data in an SDT process.
