In one aspect, the method comprises generating side information using a source reconstruction and decoding using the generated side information to generate a new source reconstruction. The method further includes iterating the steps of generating and decoding, the generating step using at least the new source reconstruction output by the previous decoding step, and the decoding step using the side information output by the previous generating step. The method may stop the iteration when one or more predetermined criteria are met.

The method comprises the steps of providing a set of low-density parity check (LDPC) codes, each of which accepts a range of data input lengths and a range of target compression rates; identifying a data input having a data input length; and identifying a desired compression rate. The method comprises the further steps of selecting one of said LDPC codes based on said data input length and desired compression rate; encoding the data input, using the selected LDPC code, to generate a sequence of data values; and puncturing some of said encoded data values to achieve the desired compression rate. Preferably, the encoding step includes the steps of generating a syndrome and a parity sequence from the data input, puncturing the generated parity sequence, and mixing a remaining portion of the data input with the punctuated parity sequence.

With this, the conversion of the two methods can be realized by simply switching the short circuit wiring of the P1B terminal or the BN terminal to the CN terminal and the AN terminal. Using certain measurement method, each phase of the transformer to be tested can be measured simultaneously, which improves the accuracy of the detected data. Meanwhile, the prior art of wiring conduction structure is changed into a rod-shaped jack-type conduction structure, such that the two-step wiring procedure is reduced to one step during measurement, which can be realized by simply controlling the forward and reverse rotation of the driving motor. No manual wiring operation is required, which is safer and more convenient, and greatly improves the efficiency of wiring conversion during measurement.

A multi-level scan order may be used in which significant-coefficient flags are scanned group-by-group. The group scan order specifies the order in which the groups are processed, and the scan order specifies the order in which individual significant-coefficient flags within the group are processed. The bitstream may interleave the significant-coefficient-group flags and their corresponding significant-coefficient flags, if any.

The greater-than-one flag is encoded/decoded irrespective of whether a maximum number of greater-than-one flags have been encoded/decoded with respect to the other coefficients in the coefficient group.
