Abstract:
The present invention provides compositions for treating pain using an atypical antipsychotic compound that is seroquel in combination with another Drug Used in the Treatment of Pain.
Abstract:
A spray box assembly including, in combination, a top spray box, a bottom spray box, the boxes being juxtapositioned to define a pathway therebetween, at least one spray assembly positioned within at least one of the boxes and a supply assembly for supplying a treating solution to the spray assembly to coat product with the treating solution as the product is fed through the pathway and also including a method of coating a product with a treating solution, comprising the steps of feeding the product into a pathway between top spray box and a bottom spray box and spraying the treating solution within at least one of the boxes about the pathway to coat the product with the treating solution as the product is fed through the pathway.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for dynamically routing a plurality of simultaneous point-to-point communications through an array of repeating transceivers. Each repeating transceiver may simultaneously act as each of a transmitter of origin for one communication, a final receiver for a second communication, and a repeater for a plurality of other communications. When acting as a repeater, each transceiver applies programmed delays to information before re-transmitting, and these delays are programmed so as to route a communication through the array of transceivers along a designed path along which multiple re-transmissions from local repeating transceivers are received, aligned in time for constructive reinforcement, and retransmitted after dynamically programmable time delays.
Abstract:
A cervical canal dilating assembly and method of use are shown. The dilator assembly includes a plastic shaft, a first inflatable member, and a second inflatable member. The shaft can range from being rigid to being highly flexible. The second inflatable member is fabricated of a non-elastic material and is configured to have a maximum inflatable diameter. The second inflatable member is configured to have a predetermined maximum inflatable diameter ranging from 4 to 20 mm. The dilating assembly can also be at least partially covered by a sheath. A control system includes means for measuring pressure configured for at least monitoring the pressure of the second inflatable member. A wire can be used in selected configurations to stiffen and shape the shaft. In operation, the initial penetration of the dilating assembly into the uterus uses a wire for increased stiffness. The dilating assembly is then forwarded through the remainder of the cervical canal. The first inflatable member is expanded in the uterus after being uncovered by the sheath. The second inflatable member is positioned in the cervical canal and gradually inflated to a predetermined maximum diameter.
Abstract:
Methods to at least partially reduce a niobium oxide are described wherein the process includes mixing the niobium oxide and niobium powder to form a powder mixture that is then heat treated to form heat treated particles which then undergo reacting in an atmosphere which permits the transfer of oxygen atoms from the niobium oxide to the niobium powder, and at a temperature and for a time sufficient to form an oxygen reduced niobium oxide. Oxygen reduced niobium oxides having high porosity are also described as well as capacitors containing anodes made from the oxygen reduced niobium oxides.
Abstract:
The invention encompasses a removable strain gauge fixture, and a method for measuring accumulated stress in a structural component, such as a railroad rail. The strain gauge fixture generally comprises first and second side pieces connected by a strain concentrating bar of reduced cross-section, an electronic strain sensor mounted on the bar, and first and second tapered pins extending from the front faces of each of the side pieces. The tapered pins transmit accumulated strain from the component being measured to the strain focusing bar when the pins are inserted into mating holes in the component. The method of the invention generally comprises the steps of providing a pair of holes in the component mateable with the tapered pins of the strain gauge fixture, inserting the tapered pins into the holes of the material in order to transfer accumulated strain in the material to the strain concentrating bar, taking a first strain measurement via the strain sensor on the bar, removing the tapered pins from the material, and taking a second strain reading from the strain sensor.
Abstract:
A carbonated beverage package comprising an inner container gas tight sealed by means of a lid and containing carbonated beverage, and an outer restraining cup in which the inner container locates and which restrains the inner container from excessive expansion due to the pressure of the beverage in the inner container, but which can readily be detached from the inner container for use as a drinking vessel upon release of the pressure within the container: the materials intended for the inner container and outer cup have particular characteristics and thicknesses to achieve the desired results.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an unmanned fully autonomous threat representative mobile land target for testing modern weapon systems and training personnel. The invention implements novel navigation and vehicle control algorithms which allow any predefined course to be represented spatially and temporally with continuously and smoothly varying curvatures having no discontinuities of curvature, direction, or acceleration that enable the target vehicle to traverse a predefined course with unprecedented speed, accuracy, and maneuverability without the need for communication with any remotely located station.
